Protect your gear from the elements with the RainCoat Pro (Digital Camo) from LensCoat. This product is designed with the outside shooter in mind, offering excellent protection against rain, wind, sand, snow, and dust for your gear. It is designed to fit lenses with focal lenghts from 300mm to 800mm. Made from a lightweight poly-tricot material, this coat fits tightly around your lens through the use of cinch straps. The foldout arm sleeve has its own dedicated storage pocket and provides access to your camera's controls. A rear opening also provides more full access to your gear, while a hook-and-loop closure at the bottom enables you to use the lens' focus ring.

This digital camo version provides a computer-generated pixelated pattern that mimics naturally occurring textures and rough boundaries. Other features of this product include a mesh storage pocket and an extension sleeve that allows for the use of hoods in 600-800mm lenses. Optional accessories are available separately, such as LensCoat lens covers, Hoodie lens caps, and camera BodyGuards. This product is made in the USA.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I would like a long zoom lens - e.g. 75mm-300mm - as a fixed 300mm will often be too long for a bird or animal close up. I have the 12mm-200mm lens. Is there a long zoom lens (e.g., from another manufacturer) that can work with the OM-D E-M1 Mark II?

A: The Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/2.8 PRO Lens B&H # OL4015028B would be a great option which is the equivalent of 80-300mm. https://bhpho.to/31Wr2xw

Q: 2. will this lens autofocus with the compatible 1.4 teleconverter and the olympus omde1 mIII?

A: Yes this lens is compatible with the Olympus M.Zuiko Digital MC-14 1.4x Teleconverter when both are mounted to the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II.

Q: 3. Is the Zuiko digital ed 300mm f/4 compatible with the MC-20 2x teleconverter? It only lists the MC-14 1.4x teleconverter.

A: Yes. It is but we highly suggest using a 1.4x tele. be mindful that your unit already offers a built in magnification.

Q: 4. Anyone using this lens with a Lumix G9, kindly enlighten me on the compatibility of all features please

A: The 300mm f/4 PRO does not have any compatibility issues or missing features with the Lumix G9. In fact it's a fantastic combo.

Q: 5. Is this *really* equivalent to a 600mm lens? Ive been shooting with a Canon 7d, 100-400 mark ii +1.4x tc, but I wanted something with more reach (and cant afford a Canon 500 or 600mm lens). So I bought Olympus 300mm f4 with the EM-1 camera + 1.4x tc thinking that it would give me just that bc many sources say the lens is a 600mm equivalent. But after taking the same shot (same subject, same distance) with both cameras and comparing the results, the reach looks about the same. What am I missing?

A: Yes it is a 600mm equivalent in 35mm format. I too used to shoot the Canon L 100-400mm and with a 1.4x extender which is a 560mm equivalent but only on a full frame 35mm body like the Canon 5d. Thus, the 300mm Oly uFT lens (600 equivalent) is tad longer reach than the 100-400mm w/1.4x extender (140-560mm equivalent) but only in full frame body. You mentioned using a 7d in your question. The Canon 7d has an effective 1.6x crop factor which makes the Canon 100-400 seem like a 160-640mm lens -- add that 1.4x canon extender and you are now looking at an effective 224-896mm lens...again only on a crop body. Thus, with your 7d @ 1.6x and 100-400mm lens with a 1.4x extender your reach is about 50% more than a 300mm oly lens behaving like a 600mm @ 35mm equivalent. Adding the oly 1.4x to the oly 300mm makes it behave like an 840mm 35mm equivalent a tad less than the aforementioned 896mm setup.

Q: 6. Is this lens compatible with my OM-D E-M5 Mark II?

A: Yes. Just get last firmware. I uses this lens with omd 1 Mark II and omd m5 Mark II

Q: 7. Does this lens OIS work on Panasonic cameras?

A: I can't answer your question (apart from having asked B&H staff and been assured that this lens's OIS will work with a Panasonic GH5's internal image stabilization, just as it does with Olympus's). I'll be interested to see comments from someone with the lens (it's a marvel that I've enjoyed using) and a Panasonic body.

Q: 8. Or with the older EM-5?

A: Yes the lens is compatible with the Olympus OM-D E-M5.

Q: 9. Is It compatible with GH4 or GH5?

A: It's an m4/3 lens. It will fit, it will focus. It will perform brilliantly. Will it have Sync IS like on some Olympus bodies? No.

Q: 10. I assume that since this lens (the new 300mm f4 PRO) has 4 stop IS one would want to turn off IS in the camera body??

A: They work together in the E-M5 II and E-M1.
