Q: 2. I have a 35 mm lens. What would this lens give me that my 35 mm won’t?

A: It will be more zoomed in than you're 35mm. 35mm is still considered a wide angle. The minimum focus distance is very small so you can get a lot closer to subjects so you can great detail shots of things like flowers or bugs!

Q: 3. Does this lens come with a lens cap?Is it compatible with a Canon Mark III camera?

A: Lens cap = yes. Canon 5D Mark III = yes.

Q: 4. Is the AF fast? (using 5D Mark III)

A: Yes, it is. I have used it for fashion shoots as well as for still-life photography and its focusing speed is very good.

Q: 5. Is the Canon EF 100mm F/2.9L Macro compatible with the Canon RP? Thanks

A: As John said, as long as you have the Canon EOS EF To RF adapter it will work.

Q: 6. is the 11.8" Min. Focus or the 1" focus better for macro photography?

A: although I did buy this for a gift for someone but online they said 11.8 inches or (rounded 1 ft (about 12") There are not to many macro lenses that have a 1 inch focal distance. the canon 60mm macro (ef-s) has a .65 ft (less than 1 ft) and the (ef) canon 65mm mp-e has a .8 ft (this lens is a bit harder to use cause it is all manual and you have to use the camera to move closer or farther to get a focus) - however it is 1-5X (magnification) macro (almost like a microscope)

Q: 7. Can you use this lens with canon 7d?

A: Yes you can

Q: 8. Can you use autofocus with adapter on a micro 4/3 body (e.g. OMD EM-5)?
