A: The Metabones Speed Booster Ultra 0.71x Adapter should work. The rear element of the XL 0.64x adapter projects too far into the camera on the OM-D cameras and may disrupt the function of the shutter.

A: Metabones claims: Compatible to both Nikkor G lens & F lens (include non-AI & AI lens mounts). Your AF-D lenses fall under F lens. You will use the manual aperture ring on the Speed Booster to adjust your aperture. You will not be able to adjust the aperture by control dial on your camera body. You will not have auto aperture. You will not have auto focus. You will not have distance information or any other information from the lens as there are not electronic contacts. I have used the Speed Booster with both F and G lenses. The only thing you have to do differently with the F lenses is to set them to the smallest aperture on the lens ex. 22. If you forget to do this you will have a range from the aperture selected on the lens to wide open, when using the aperture ring on the speed booster.
