A: Nissin states that the Nissin i60A Flash for Fujifilm Cameras currently available should have the latest firmware to work with the Fujifilm X-T2 Mirrorless Digital Camera. However, there has not been a firmware update yet released for High Speed Sync at this time.

A: The firmware update for the i60A cannot be performed by the owner. It must be sent to the area distributor to have this done. There has been only one firmware upgrade for the i60A. This was to allow it to work properly on the X-T2 and X-2 Pro. To check a specific flash, you can call the USA distributor at 603-504-6317. Most flashes have already had the upgrade performed prior to shipping so most likely there is no upgrade needed. If you are using on a camera other than the X-T2 or X-2 Pro, no upgrade is needed.
