The Eartec 4-User SC-1000 Two-Way Radio with XTreme Inline PTT Headsets is a complete system that consists of 4 of the company's Scrambler SC-1000 UHF radio transceivers, each with its own XTreme Inline headset with a Push-to-Talk activation.

The SC-1000 system allows for crystal clear voice communication to production teams on the move. This wireless transmitter operates in the simplex mode, which means that when one person in a group transmits, the message is received by everyone. An unlimited number of transceivers can operate at the same frequency and the system can also be utilized as a dual-channel intercom with switching.

The transceiver features a full watt of transmission power at a distance of up to 1 mile (1.61 km). It utilizes UHF high-band frequencies that can penetrate concrete or steel surfaces. This makes the SC-1000 a cost-effective sound solution for schools, churches, community theatres, or any on-location venue where users need to communicate between buildings or through walls. This unit operates with a rechargeable NiCad battery (sold separately). It also comes with a military belt clip for convenient carrying.

The XTreme Inline Headset with Push-to-Talk activation is a versatile headset accessory for two-way radio use. This headset allows users to wear their radios clipped to their belts and communicate through the headset. It is a dual ear headset that can be worn with most protective headgear, such as bump caps and hard hats. This headset includes patented heptagonal shaped ear cups and gel-filled ear pads. They also feature a stainless steel backbend and an adjustable over the head tension strap. Together, these components combine to provide a snug, comfortable fit. It includes an inline Push-to-Talk activation.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can have HHS with sony A6000?

A: Yes, although it must be turned HSS on either on the i60A flash or on the Nissin Air 1 Commander f you are using that to control the i60A.

Q: 2. how do you activate HSS on camera flash with a Sony A7III?

A: HSS is activated on the flash directly.

Q: 3. How does this flash compare to the Nikon SB-700? More power, less power or the same? Any other differences? I’m considering replacing my Nikon SB-700 with this Nisssin i60a.

A: Overall, this flash does have more bells and whistles compared to the SB-700. The Nissin will have a faster recycle time, greater variation in its power range, radio communication, as well as more groups and channels. Overall, power output is the same between the two but functionality, the i60A has more to it.

Q: 4. i60A and DMC-GX8?My i60A is supposed to be compatible with and work with micro four third cameras. Yet since purchasing it it has NOT worked, not once! And to compound things, I've been unable to find reference materials, let alone a manual. The Flash setting in the GX8/record menu is grayed out so I can't see/adjust settings. Thanks for sharing your own feedback or solutions about this problem.

A: According to Nissin technical department, the GX8 is compatible with the i60A and Air 1 Commander. You can download the complete user manual at: a href= http://www.nissindigital.com/download.html. target= _blank http://www.nissindigital.com/download.html./a A couple of other thoughts for getting the flash to work on your GX8;1. Please be sure that the flash is pushed all of the way into the hot shoe. I realize that this sounds basic but we have seen this before where the flash is not pushed all the way forward so that the contacts are not lining up. You should hear a small click sound when the locking pin engages.2. There are several setting on some cameras which will not allow a flash to fire. Some of these include, silent mode activated, electronic curtain activated, (a flash will only fire with the mechanical shutter), continuous shooting mode.3. You may want to reset you flash to factory defaults and then put the flash in A mode for testing. If none of these work, please contact the Nissin USA distributor at info@NEIDLLC.com.I hope this helps.

Q: 5. Is the shoe mount for the Nissin i60A plastic or metal?

A: The shoe mount for the Sony flash is a combination of metal and plastic. This is due to the MIS mounting system that Sony uses. All other shoe mounts from Nissin are metal.

Q: 6. Are the i60a flashes that are shipping now updated with the firmware that will allow them to be used with the xt2?

A: The one I've received 5 days ago on Sept 27 has the firmware.

Q: 7. Will this flash include the latest firmware that supports HSS for Fuji mirrorless cameras?

A: The latest firmware does have HSS. Unfortunately, you do have to send it in to NEID (located in NH). Took mine about 10 total days from the time they received it to having it delivered to me (in CA), so not too bad.

Q: 8. Can i use this flash on hot shoe of Sony 7ARII to shot high speed sync ?

A: Yes. The HSS will be activated from the flash in this configuration.

Q: 9. can I trigger the canon 600ex rt with this flash ? If so are there any draw backs compared just using another canon 600 ex rt.

A: This flash does not have commander/master capability, but rather just slave functionality.

Q: 10. And if I read this correctly (and I'm pretty sure I did) this new and improved flash still does not support wireless TTl functionality for Fuji. Is that right? Does anyone know when Fuji is going to get it together and make flash a priority?

A: This flash is capable of wireless slave TTL functionality using either Nissin's Air System with a range of 98' or Fujifilm's optical slave capabilities.
