Please be sure that the flash is pushed all of the way into the hot shoe. You should hear a small click sound when the locking pin engages.2. There are several setting on some cameras which will not allow a flash to fire. Some of these include, silent mode activated, electronic curtain activated, (a flash will only fire with the mechanical shutter), continuous shooting mode.3. You may want to reset you flash to factory defaults and then put the flash in A mode for testing.
