I did notice the speed of my PC was much much faster and was not lagging as much as previous hard drive. The memory is great to store all the photos from my phone.

Used Google and YouTube to get my brand of laptop open and install was a breeze. My computer runs awesome now. It writes and retrieves at high speeds and there is no lag. I’m very happy with it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it is sturdy material, it is very easy to install. open the case and snap in the drive into the available cable. it gets a little more difficult if you are replacing the current drive and need to partition or anything like that. if you are adding a secondary drive, then it is very easy to DIY. no additional software to install, just plug and play.

I was a little hesitant at first since it is a less expensive model but I'll will tell you I am not disappointed! Easy to swap out. Fast and quiet! Definitely has sped up my laptop. It's easy to hook it up to your laptop and configure and quickly transferred all my files. There are many different size options available depending on the size of your computer. Would recommend this product if looking to upgrade your computer. So far so good and no issues with this item. Looking at purchasing more and a bigger storage capacity one for other computers we have.

Got older stuff backed up to allow extra room on my main drive. Will look into a bigger one next time. Worth the money. May end up using it on my Xbox for extra game space

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I added this Kingston A400 SSD to my laptop as a secondary internal drive. On my laptop installation was pretty easy. I am a visual learner so I had to look up a video to ensure installation went smooth. Surprisingly it wasn’t as difficult as I had imagined. I moved most large files from my main hard drive to the Kingston A400 including game files and rebooted my laptop. After doing so I saw a nice increase in startup speed and my laptop runs a lot smoother. SSD drives use to be extremely expensive but now that they are affordable it’s worth replacing the old standard SATA drives. Overall a good experience and a great addition to my laptop performance.

This thing is extremely light I was afraid I would break it! It is perfect for updating an outdated and sluggish laptop to give it a second wind. Not sure about its performance in a gaming laptop, but I would highly recommend it for a browsing/productivity situation.
