Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this a new camera for $749 ?

A: All items in our inventory would be new, unless clearly stated otherwise on the item's page. And for the most part, no used or refurbished items will come up in a search unless you are specifically looking in our Used Department. That being said, this is a new 7D.

Q: 2. Does the Canon 7d have a fully tiltable rear monitor like the 70d? This feature on the 7d is very useful for quick live view use.

A: No it does not, the LCD screen on the 7D is fixed.

Q: 3. Does AFMA store two values for a zoom lens?

A: The 7D uses the first generation of AF Microadjustment, so there will only be one adjustment possible for zoom lenses. With the 7D Mark II, on the other hand, one has the ability to set individual AF Microadjust values for the wide and tele end of a zoom's range. It also allows the input of serial numbers, so if you happen to use multiple copies of the same lens, that require different adjust-by-lens values, you can do that as well.

Q: 4. Will the Canon EF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS II USM Lens fit EOS 7D SLR digital camera body?

A: Yes it will. The Canon EOS 7D is compatible with any autofocus lenses made by Canon for the EOS system.

Q: 5. It says 1 year USA warranty. Is the warranty effective in vietnam? can i send it to canon vietnam for repairing?

A: The warranty is valid in the USA. To see if Canon Vietnam will honor the warranty on a camera purchased in the USA, you would need to contact them directly. a href= http://www.canon.com.vn/home?languageCode=VN target= _blank http://www.canon.com.vn/home?languageCode=VN/a

Q: 6. Does it have the focus point joy-stick and lever?

A: It also has the lever, but the lever is offset from the joystick, so is slightly different from the camera in look and location, but has the same function.

Q: 7. Is the Canon 7D compatible with all CompactFlash Memory Cards (and specifically the SanDisk 32 GB Extreme CompactFlash Memory Card)?

A: This camera is compatible with all UDMA compatible Compact Flash cards.

Q: 8. Does the grip with AA batteries change the shutter rates? (frames per second)

A: I never use AA batteries

Q: 9. is it new or used?

A: All items in our inventory would be new, unless clearly stated otherwise on the item's page. And for the most part, no used or refurbished items will come up in a search unless you are specifically looking in our Used Department.

Q: 10. Can the batteries be changed while the camera is operating with the intervelometer for extended shooting (star trails)?

A: No the camera will need to be turned off when the batteries are removed. Once you begin sliding the batteries out the camera will loose power. With 2 fully charged batteries this should give you about 5 hours of open shutter time. This grip is excellent. I have the same brand for my 5D MKIII and never had an issue. Perhaps you should invest in an A/C power adapter if you'll be shooting in an area where you can plug in.At normal temperatures, here's a rough idea of how long a fully-charged Canon-brand battery can operate when you're in Bulb mode (total shutter open time, whether for one single long exposure, or many shorter ones):EOS Rebel series: approx. 22.5 total hoursEOS 60D: approx. 6 hoursEOS 7D: approx. 2.5 hoursEOS 5D Mark III: approx. 4 hoursEOS-1D X: approx. 3 hours 45 Source: learnusacanon B&H doesn't allow links to other sites but you see where it is.
