The Meridian Technologies SR-4HG-51/57ST 4-Channel Multi-Rate SDI/HD-SDI/3G Video Receiver from the ST/SR-4HD-CWDM DigiView transmitter and receiver system series, receives 4 channels of real-time SDI/HD-SDI/3G video signals over 1 single-mode fiber via an ST optical connector. Using CWDM (Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology, the content details of each video channel are preserved by real-time reception of each video channel in a compact card format. The SR-4HG-51/57ST digital video receiver and the ST-4HD-CWDM transmitter (sold separately) when used together, provide broadcast-quality transmission of the industry-standard range of digital video data rates. No user adjustments are required, ensuring fast deployment and setup with broadcast-quality results. The entire electrical and optical subsystems are housed in a standard Meridian 1-slot card design for mounting in any venue, particularly in areas with space constraints.

Q: 6. recording time on a sandisk 128 sdxc card in prores hq?

A: To get the correct answer, the video resolution and frame rate also must be factored in. Since people typically shoot in 1080p24, we will go with that timing. Shooting 108024p on a 128GB U3 SD Card, ProRes 422 HQ will record 40 minutes.

Q: 7. The expected availability recently went from August to October. Is there a specific reason for this delay or is it a random guess?

A: We were told by Blackmagic the roll out would be delayed. If there was a reason given, it is not known by us sales agents.

Q: 8. Is it compatible with the Nikon D3300? It can output a clean, free from overlays feed on HDMI.

A: It should be, It has HDMI and mini BNC inputs, so far it takes signal form any device i have tried. I have not tried a Nikon camera, but it works with my Panasonic and JVC video cameras.
