Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. How long will the light stay illuminated at max brightness on battery power?

A: The run time is about 5 hours, longer when dimmed.

Q: 2. does this product have tempered glass?

A: It is plexiglass, not actual glass.

Q: 3. Hi! New to photography here! Will this mount to a A6000?

A: Yes, the Sony E 20mm f/2.8 Lens will be able to mount to a Sony a6000 Mirrorless Camera.

Q: 4. Is it really an AF lens as stated in the specs?

A: It does say autofocus in the specs. (but it's not) B&H please fix this

Q: 5. Where is this manufactured? Which country?

A: As per our records, this item is made in Germany. Please note that this is subject to change at any time.

Q: 6. What is the angle of view?

A: I believe it is 61.93 degrees.

Q: 7. Is this lens exactly the same as using 20mm on the 16-50mm f3.5-5.6 kit lens on an a6100?

A: Yes, 20mm is 20mm, the same angle of view and magnification, except the 20mm prime lens will be better in low light as well as having better optical quality.

Q: 8. Is the color good enough for accurate slide copying?

A: Yes, the color temperature emitted from this Kaiser Slimlite Plano Lightbox would be appropriate for accurate slide copying based on the correct white balance setting in your specific camera.

Q: 9. Would I be able digitize my slides using an iPhone or would a dslr be needed ?

A: It would be awkward to use an Iphone for composition, etc... as well as loss of image quality for enlargements. You would be much better off using a dslr on a tripod set in a stable position to enable bulk slide copying. A macro lens would be ideal for this type of setup.

Q: 10. How does this compare to the 16-50mm f3.5-5.6 kit lens? Is it worth getting if I've already got the kit lens?

A: To be honest with you, the only real difference you'll be getting is the wider aperture (f/2.8) If you already have the 16-50 PZ lens, I would suggest looking into other Sony lenses that cover a different focal length you do not have, or a specialized lens if you're looking to shoot a specific genre of photography.
