Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this flash work with the A77ii?

A: I was unable to get it to work. I use it in manual mode on and off camera on my Olympus OMD EM1 without a problem. I ended up buying a Nissin Di700A with the Air1 wireless transmitter. OMG - flawless! TTL off camera and all. Flashes on the Sony A7711 can be a pain and the Nissin is the cure! Yongnuo is really Canikon focused for functionality.

Q: 2. Does this have a Slave Function with the Canon 600d ?

A: Yes, this flash can be used as a slave with the Canon 600D.

Q: 3. Would this work for a canon rp ? Does it matter do I need to buy that works for a specific brand ?

A: This is a universal flash and will work with any camera in auto or manual mode but not in TTL. If you want a flash that is TTL with the RP, then I would recommend the Yongnuo 565. Click the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/2vm5COG

Q: 4. is this compatible with canon 700d

A: It is compatible with a canon 70D thats what I have. Works great

Q: 5. Is this flash able to function as a wireless flash when used in conjunction with canon 600d?

A: With radio transceivers to connect them, this flash works very well in manual mode with any DSLR. It however will not function with the TTL on your camera.

Q: 6. will this flash work on a panasonic fz1000?

A: Yes, this flash will be compatible with the Panasonic FZ1000, as it is a fully manual flash.

Q: 7. Will this flash work with the Sony A77ii? If not is there an adapter or another Yongnuo model that does?

A: It will work but not TTL of course. Godox makes a TTL flash for Sony, the TT350 flash. You can click the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/2wlC6c2

Q: 8. Will this flash work as a slave in manual mode with a yne3-rx? I only need to set power remotely? I do not need TTL functions

A: No I don't believe so. It seems to be designed to work with several e-TTL Yongnuo flashes, but not the fully manual YN560-IV. I have the YN560-IV as well as it's predecessor the YN560-III. I trigger them with the YN560-TX and it works wonderfully. You can adjust the flash power and zoom of each flash separately without having to walk over to the flash. Just make sure to get the correct brand compatibility (Nikon/Canon). Another option is to set the flash to 'Slave' and use the pop up flash on your camera to trigger it.

Q: 9. I have a Cano EOS 6D & 5D mk IIII am interested in a set of 8 flashes to work in 3 groupsThe Wireless Speedlite Transmitter YN-E3-RT support the Yongnuo YN560-IV on any of my cameras??

A: Yes it should work as a mnanual slave in one of the 3 groups

Q: 10. Dose this work with Nikon?

A: Yes, the Yongnuo YN560-IV Speedlite may be used with Nikon cameras that have a standard hot shoe. Do note that this is a manual flash, so you would have to set the flash output manually. It does not have TTL automatic exposure.
