The 6" Suction Cup With 3/8"-16 Stud from Matthews is a super-strong camera and lighting support designed to securely mount your equipment to any flat surface. The cup features a simple-to-use integrated pump system which creates an air-tight seal between the suction cup and the chosen surface. Simply press the pin inwards to create the vacuum seal and when the red-line disappears - you're ready to go!

The top of the cup has been fitted with a common 3/6"-16 threaded stud to accommodate most standard tripod and monopod heads, giving the user a wide range of choices when it comes to camera movement and positioning. When using this suction cup on a horizontal surface Matthews recommends a load capacity of no greater than 20 lb, however, when used on a vertical surface weight capacity varies based on the size and weight of the equipment being used. All users are recommended to test the stability of the suction cup on a given surface before mounting heavy equipment.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can this full-frame lens be used with my Canon SL2?

A: Yes, the Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM Lens is compatible for use on the Canon EOS Digital Rebel SL2 DSLR camera. Do note that the Canon EOS Digital Rebel SL2 DSLR camera uses the smaller APS-C sensor, which has a 1.6x crop factor. As such, the Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM Lens used on the Canon EOS SL2 will have the equivalent angle of view of a 25.6-56mm lens used on a full-frame camera.

Q: 2. Hello guys , help pls canon 16-35 f4 or tamron 15-30 f2.8

A: Canon. Not even in the same league. For wide angle the IS is more important than f 2.8. Mir mist uses like landscape the sharpness and IS give more versatility. In addition the Canon is sharp rrom corner to corner

Q: 3. Online reviews have stated that there is a humming noise when recording video, since the lens have been out for 3+ years now is that still the case or has Canon made improvements on the IS to the point that it is silent now?

A: Sorry, I Haven't used it for video yet, only still photography.

Q: 4. I currently have 24-70 GM 2.8. I was torn between this lens or the 24mm GM 1.4? I'm looking for the 2nd lens to my collection. Please me help to decide.

A: The 16-35mm would be a better all around versatile lens. You will get a lot more use from the 16-35mm than the 24mm.

Q: 5. Have you experienced any focus breathing with this lens when paired with the A7SIII or other Sony cameras or camcorders?

A: Focus breathing is present in most lenses made for still photography.

Q: 6. I am ready to buy Canon's 16-35 f4L. Can I use a normal UV filter or should I use a thin UV filter?

A: If you are using the Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS USM Lens on a full-frame camera, as it is wider than 24mm, yes, I would recommend using a thin filter on this lens. If you are using this lens on an APS-C sensor camera, then a standard filter may be used.

Q: 7. Is the D500 body compatible with the Tamron 150-600 5-6.3 lens?

A: Yes, the Tamron SP 150-600mm f/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 for Nikon F is compatible with the Nikon D500 camera. Please be aware that using the lens on this camera will result in a 1.5x crop of the image. The new effective focal length will become 225mm to 900mm.

Q: 8. Is this lens worth having with 24mm GM?

A: I personally have this lens paired with the 16-35GM. It's an awesome lens. Very sharp, great for astrophotography and video.

Q: 9. Should I have both the 24-70mm f/2.8 GM for most everyday photos and the 16-35mm f/2.8 GM for landscapes or is this too duplicative?

A: Yes, the Sony 24-70 f/2.8 GM and the Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM Lens compliment each other very well. It is a bit of a overlap but that is fine.

Q: 10. What is the size (width) of the zoom barrel?

A: The Sony FE 16-35mm f/2.8 GM Lens's diameter is 3.5 inches.
