Q: 1. How many SD card slots does this camera have. Can it do dual recording video?

A: Have to answer this one from memory, but i believe it has one SD slot and can record a single stream of video or take a photo because you have to switch modes.

Q: 2. Ford this camera have Wifi ability?

A: No

Q: 3. Can this be used as a webcam?

A: No

Q: 4. Does this camera have a loud shutter noise? I'm new to photography, and looking for a quieter camera so I can shoot wildlife without spooking them off. There will be low light, no flash shots. Thanks in advance!

A: As cameras go this is pretty quiet. There are some that are much quieter but those do cost more. And for low light this one is fine but there others that are better. And for wild life you will most likely want a longer zoom and one that is better in low light. This is an example of a longer zoom that is pretty good in low light, Canon EF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM Lens B&H # CA702004LIS MFR # 1258B002.

Q: 5. Can you download photos using the newest Mac operating system? Once I upgraded my operating system, I could no longer download photos from my previous Canon camera (which was recently stolen).

A: The operating system you are using should not interfere with you downloading images to your computer (if you are referring to editing images, you may wish to check the version of your editing software to ensure it is compatible with your OS). If you are using Mac OS High Sierra (10.13.x.) which is their newest version of their operating system, Canon has both software and firmware available for the Canon EOS Digital Rebel T5 DSLR camera compatible with High Sierra under their Drivers & Downloads section on their website. As they are free downloads, you may visit Canon's website to download the new drivers or firmware for your computer.

Q: 6. I bought this package and received a follow-up email for a manufacture rebate. Does any of this package qualify for the rebate?

A: At the current time, none of the items in this bundle qualify for a mail-in rebate.

Q: 7. is there a high light alert?

A: Hi. First must admit this is a place to buy! The service, workers all very helpful and extremely nice! Second the camera awesome. Ez features. One issue I had is the battery gets overheated to fast when flash is used. Lcd screen will show BUSY signal. U might need an additional flash. I find it very annoying. Otherwise ALL went just great! Hope this was helpful.... loads of luck!

Q: 8. what is the appropriate lens reversal ring for macro use for this camera with the 18-55mm lens?

A: You could look at the Vello Macrofier Reverse Mount Adapter and Extension Tube for Canon EF/EF-S Lenses. It would enable you to mount the EF-S 18mm-55mm lens backwards onto the T5 and retain auto functions such as being able to control the lenss aperture.

Q: 9. How much does this camera weigh?

A: The T5 body only will weigh approximately 15.3 oz. The T5 body with the 18-55mm lens attached will weigh approximately 1 lb 6 oz. With the the 75-300mm lens attached it will weigh approximately 2lbs.

Q: 10. What is the difference between the EOS Rebel T5, and the T5i?Also, I assume you can shoot in JPEG rather than raw format.

A: The T5 is Canons newest base entry level DSLR. The T5i is of their more advanced within their Rebel series of cameras. Both would be suitable for beginner use and would allow a user to expand and grow with their photography, the T5i simply has many more features and advances than the T5 does. The T5i would be better for someone wanting to step up from a T5 type camera, but not wanting to spend the money on the advanced level models such as the EOS 70D for instance. The T5i has a faster/more powerful image processor, it has a higher ISO rating for low light and active subject matter. It has vari-angle LCD screen and a faster burst rate for continuous still shooting. Both models allow for RAW or Jpeg capture, whichever you prefer.
