A: This is a fix focal length and manual focusing lens with a preatty small aperture it will be compatible with your canon 7d , but for a moving object in a low light , I wouldn't recommend it, instead I will use some telephoto zoom with auto focus and a better f stop performance.

A: These lenses are rated for use with a Super 35mm sized sensor and as such, the RED Gemini sensor is about 25% wider than super 35 at full 5k resolution. That being said it will likely vignette to a degree when used in full 5k resolution, however at a 4k crop or smaller, the lens should not have any issues.
