Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is my D80 fully compatible with this lens?

A: The D80 is fully compatible with the 14-24 f2.8 lens.

Q: 2. will this mount adapter work with canon ef-m mirrorless lenses?

A: It will work with any EF mount camera. Heads up, the iris built in to the adapter does not work like the one on the lens. It works by only letting in less light but doesn't change your depth of field. It will begin to vignette at some point. Your essentially shooting wide open all the time so you'll need nd's to compensate. Well made construction and works well with my canon L glass. Fun little camera.

Q: 3. does this use multiple power options at once to be able to hot swap while recording?( have AA batteries and able to hotswap npf batteries)

A: Yes, the F6 will automatically switch between power sources when they are depleted or disconnected without interruption, so you can continue to record while switching power sources. The device will prioritize power sources in the following order: USB-C, Sony L Series, AA Batteries.

Q: 4. Can someone tell me if this lens is better than the new sigma 12-24 f4 art lens?Because I unable to find any nikon version review on that lens.

A: I do not know anything about the Sigma lens. However, I own the Nikon lens. It is used for architectural, landscapes and group shots in small spaces. The 2.8 lens is easily worth the difference in price and there is that thing called Nikon quality.

Q: 5. Can this product be used as computer interface (like the MixPre-3)?

A: The Zoom F6 can be used as a 6-in/4-out USB 2.0 audio interface at up to 24-bit / 96 kHz. Also, it is possible to operate the Zoom F6 as an audio interface while recording to an SD card.

Q: 6. Can this lens be used for Leica M mount camera (Monochrom Typ 246) with some adapter? Possible?

A: This lens cannot be used with a Leica M.

Q: 7. I will not be able to manually focus EF lenses with this adaptor?

A: Yes you can manually focus with any EF lens with this attachment. You cannot auto focus.

Q: 8. I see you dropped the "Mic Capsule Input", are you moving away from these?

A: No, Zoom is not moving away from it at all. It is on this model that - for one reason or another - Zoom decided not to incorporate it

Q: 9. What's the battery life when recording 32-bit and 96khz on 6 channels using Lithium rechargeable batteries?

A: Thank you for your question. According to ZOOM techs they do not have an accurate estimate of time but they said between 2-3 hours of recording with phantom on all channels with back-lit display and headphone monitoring

Q: 10. Does it work on a D7200?

A: Yes, the Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm f/2.8G ED Lens is fully compatible for use on the Nikon D7200 DSLR camera. Do note that the Nikon D7200 is an APS-C sensor camera with a 1.5x crop factor, so the lens will have an equivalent focal length of a 21-36mm lens used on a full-frame camera.
