A: This adapter is very slim and I haven't seen any vignetting on my 5DkmIV. I'd watch out for any flange that might stick out from the back of the lens - using Pentax M42 mount lenses, they have a flange for actuating the shutter and my mirror smacks it, which is not good at all. Just take a loot at the lens and if something stick out of the mounting side, I'd get a different adapter that gives you more room.
