Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. What is the largest memory card size I may use in my Canon Rebel T5 camera?
A: I bought the 32GB Lexar professional gold. That holds a lot of pictures and I love the camera!
Q: 2. I bought this a couple weeks ago can I still get an extended warranty/insurance ?
A: A Square Trade extended warranty can be added for 30 days from the camera or lens purchase.
Q: 3. Does the Canon T5 have the sub-mini port for the Vello RS-C1II Wired Remote Switch with 2.5mm Sub-Mini Connections? In the remote description it does say its compatible, but it has T5 (1200D)...is that a different model than just T5?
A: The T5 is called the 1200D in some regions; they are the same camera, so the T5 will be compatible with sub mini connection accessories.
Q: 4. What is the difference between a 55-250 lens and a 75-300?
A: Besides the focal length which is implied in its description, the 55-250 has optical stabilization but the 75-300 does not. Optical stabilization can be very important with zoom lenses depending on the type of photography.
Q: 5. Is this camera good for action photography (High continuous speed, large buffer and fast multi point auto focus?
A: Yes the camera is exceptionally good for a newbie photographer like me....it makes my photos look like those of a more experienced photographer. However in order to capture picture perfect action photography you will need to purchase a much better lens.
Q: 6. Would this camera and the 75-300mm lens included in this bundle work for taking crisp and clear gymnastics photos? I'm dealing with very quick movement, inside conditions with no flash, and shooting from a distance.
A: You will need to go higher on the ISO depending on lighting. For sports ideally you want a speed of 1/1000 sec. With sports just be prepared to take a lot of shots and delete. Even with a sports camera like a 1 DX you miss shots. Gym halls are usually pretty bright so the ISO 6400 should work fine. Honestly, even with my 1 DX I don't like to go above 6400. Just try and keep the speed to 1/1000 sec
Q: 7. can the rebel t5 use uhs ii cards?
A: The Canon Rebel T5 is compatible with UHS-II cards, yes.
Q: 8. What makes the T6i so much better than the T5i? I assume it is the 24 MP APS-C CMOS Sensor and the 5 FPS feature am I correct in my assumptions?
A: There are several advantages the T6i has on the T5i. Aside from the higher megapixel resolution and faster shooting, you also have more autofocus points, built in wifi, and better low light performance.
Q: 9. my eos rebel t5 has a problem that after some time of video recording it stops and some thing comes up on the screen video recording has stop automatically i have space on the memory card to cont recording and its always less then the 29:59 limit please help?
A: While page 81 of the instruction manual indicates the maximum recording time of one movie clip is 29 minutes, 59 seconds, it also indicates on the bottom of the camera that an increase of the camera's internal temperature may cause movie shooting to stop before the maximum recording shown on page 81. If you see the temperature Warning symbol shown on page 79 (on the center-right hand side of the display), that indicates the camera's internal temperature is higher than normal, and to prevent damage to the camera, recording may stop. It is recommended when shooting long videos to turn the camera off between clips or when the Temperature Warning symbol is indicated to allow the camera to cool down before resuming shooting.
Q: 10. Will this camera take my 430 EX Speedlight?
A: Yes.
