Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does the Canon T5 have the sub-mini port for the Vello RS-C1II Wired Remote Switch with 2.5mm Sub-Mini Connections? In the remote description it does say its compatible, but it has T5 (1200D)...is that a different model than just T5?

A: The T5 is called the 1200D in some regions; they are the same camera, so the T5 will be compatible with sub mini connection accessories.

Q: 2. Can you view the pictures as you take them?

A: As with all DSLR cameras, whether using the optical viewfinder or the LCD screen, at the moment you press the shutter button and take the image for still image photography, the viewfinder and LCD screen will momentarily black out as the mirror blocks the viewfinder and the shutter opens to expose the sensor. However, you can set the camera to immediately review the still image on the LCD screen on the back of the camera. If you are recording video, the shutter stays open, so you would continually be able to view the recording image during video recording.

Q: 3. does it have auto focus?

A: Yes it does have auto-focus. I've had this camera for around two months and absolutely love it. It is very sturdy and well-built. The lens are high quality and very easy to attach and detach at a pinch. The layout of the buttons is very user friendly and prove a ton of functionality at the same time! 5/5 Stars, great camera for beginners, or those on a budget!

Q: 4. are there any workshops on this camera on the computer?

A: The enhanced menu guide feature, which can be optionally turned off, works almost like a dynamic operating manuyal. If you change modes, the guide briefly explains what each mode does. As you step though menus, the guide tells you what each setting does. It's a great learning tool, almost like training wheels.

Q: 5. What's in the box, some of the items are highlighted, are those items in the box or are they accessories that are add on's?

A: The highlighted items in the box are simply links to the individual product pages should you want to take a look at the items, but all are included in the box.

Q: 6. does this camera have the WIFI feature?

A: No have to spend more for that

Q: 7. Would this camera and the 75-300mm lens included in this bundle work for taking crisp and clear gymnastics photos? I'm dealing with very quick movement, inside conditions with no flash, and shooting from a distance.

A: You will need to go higher on the ISO depending on lighting. For sports ideally you want a speed of 1/1000 sec. With sports just be prepared to take a lot of shots and delete. Even with a sports camera like a 1 DX you miss shots. Gym halls are usually pretty bright so the ISO 6400 should work fine. Honestly, even with my 1 DX I don't like to go above 6400. Just try and keep the speed to 1/1000 sec

Q: 8. What is the difference between a 55-250 lens and a 75-300?

A: Besides the focal length which is implied in its description, the 55-250 has optical stabilization but the 75-300 does not. Optical stabilization can be very important with zoom lenses depending on the type of photography.

Q: 9. where is the camera made?

A: According to the information we have, our current inventory's Country of Origin is Taiwan. Please be aware this can change over the product's production life without notice.

Q: 10. Do I have to purchase the flash for indoor pictures?

A: You can use the flash that is mounted on the camera but if you would like to enhance the picture with better lighting then a external flash would be my choice.
