The Apantac SDI-FIB MAZAMA SDI to Fiber Optic Extender comes with ST connectors. It includes a transmitter and a receiver but not the fiber optic cable. It extends SD-SDI and HD-SDI signals up to 18.64mi (30km) and 3G SDI signals up to 12.42mi (20km) over a single fiber.

It is a miniature-style extension solution that supports all SDI formats up to 3G, including SMPTE-424M (3G-SDI), SMPTE-292M (HD-SDI), and SMPTE-259M (SD-SDI) protocols. To prevent signal loss, input signals are equalized and outputs reclocked to 393.7’ (120 m) for 3G-SDI and 459.32’ (140 m) for HD-SDI.

Q: 2. Does the screen have anti reflective coating or anti glare?

A: The screen does not have anti-reflective coating or anti-glare.

Q: 3. What cable would I need to control the menu of my Z Cam E2-F6 with this monitor?

A: You will need a USB-C to Serial LANC cable. Atomos USB Type-C to Serial LANC Calibration Cable (13") https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1562063-REG/atomos_atomcab018_usb_c_to_serial_calibration.html

Q: 4. I it possible to have scopes in full screen? If so, can you have the shot half mixed with scopes?

A: The OS that all the Atomos devices use allows one to make this scopes almost full screen; it's not going to be just scopes. it will take up about 60 to 75% of the screen so you'll still be able to see the image through the scopes.

Q: 5. will this work with canon 5D mkIV? Which cable will I need?

A: Yes, the Shinobi 7 will work with the Canon 5D Mark IV. In the "Specs" section for the Canon 5D Mark IV and under "Connectivity," you will see HDMI C (Mini), meaning the Canon 5D Mark IV has a HDMI C (Mini) port. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1274705-REG/canon_eos_5d_mark_iv.html/specs The Atomos Shinobi 7 "Specs" states that it has an HDMI Type A (HDMI 2.0) Input in the I/O section. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1637663-REG/atomos_atomshb002_shinobi_7_4k_hdmi.html/specs?sts=pi&pim=Y Because the Canon 5D Mark IV has a mini-HDMI port (Type C) and the Atomos Shinobi 7 has a full-HDMI port (Type A), you will need a mini-HDMI to HDMI cable.

Q: 6. Is this the same size as the shogun and other 7inch monitors? Just want to know if existing cages and accessories would fit.

A: No, there are slight differences in each model, so we would recommend dedicated cages for each individual monitor.

Q: 7. Will this monitor have any latency or lag with a Panasonic GH5 when using for focus and shooting "run and gun" style?

A: HDMI has an inherent delay regardless of the device. You can experience lag from the cable length or port on either end. If you want a zero delay experience, you can use the 3G-SDI input with a camera that can output it.

Q: 8. does this work well in bright sunlight?

A: For use in sunlight, you would want to consider the sunshade, SmallHD FOCUS OLED Sun Shade (SKU: SMFOLSS). https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1437312-REG/smallhd_acc_hood_focus_oled_focus_oled_sun_shade.html

Q: 9. Will this support the Sony DSC RX10IV with all functionality?

A: No, the Atomos Shinobi 7" 4K HDMI/SDI Monitor will not have camera control support for the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX10 IV Digital Camera. You should consider the PORTKEYS LH5P II 5.5" Touchscreen Monitor with Camera Control for Sony FS5/FS7/FX6/FX9 (BH #POLH5PIISLNC • MFR #LH5P II -SLANC) instead.

Q: 10. Can I use this to monitor photography or is it only made for monitoring video recordings?
