Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does it come with a protective case for storage?

A: A case is not included.

Q: 2. Is this lens still made in Japan?

A: Yes, they are manufactured in Japan.

Q: 3. Could I used it with the MMF adaptor and the 4/3 Zuiko 50-200 SWD in AF?

A: Yes, you may use the Olympus 50-200mm f/2.8-3.5 ED SWD Zuiko Zoom Lens and the Olympus MMF-3 Four Thirds Lens to Micro Four Thirds Lens Mount Adapter on the Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV Mirrorless Digital Camera and retain autofocus.

Q: 4. Is the camera compartment sufficiently large to fit a Canon R5 or R6 mounted with RF 100-500mm Zoom Lens?

A: Unfortunately Manfrotto Advanced Befree III 15L Camera Backpack (Black) will not hold the R5 or R6 with the RF 100-500 mounted.

Q: 5. It says 3.5 microphone input? Where is it located?

A: Unfortunately, the Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV Mirrorless Camera does not have a microphone input.

Q: 6. Is the lens able to focus when in Continuous AF mode? Say for sports or moving subjects?

A: Yes, turning the barrel gives you control of focus. It's an incredibly fast and sharp lens, probably my all-time favorite.

Q: 7. Does this lens hood work with the XF 23mm f/1.4 R Lens?

A: No

Q: 8. Why doesn't the light change a little bit when I change the aperture so that the f_value changes in Mode A?

A: If you are shooting ambient lighting and you set the Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark IV Mirrorless Camera with 14-42mm Lens and Accessory Kit (Silver) [A] Aperture Mode, you set the lens' aperture setting (and your chosen ISO setting) while the camera sets the shutter speed. The point of the semi-automatic modes (Shutter-Priority and Aperture-Priority) is you select one setting while the camera's light meter selects the other setting while attempting to maintain a proper exposure. As such, adjusting the aperture will only affect your depth-of-field when shooting with ambient lighting. You change your aperture, and the camera changes the shutter speed to keep the same exposure (light level). If you want the exposure to change when changing your aperture, you should be shooting on [M] Manual Mode. In Manual Mode, if you adjust the aperture and nothing else, if the aperture is opened, the exposure will be brighter as more light enters the camera while all other settings stay the same. Conversely, if the aperture is closed, the exposure will be darker as less light enters the camera while all other settings stay the same.

Q: 9. With this lens, will I be able to pull focus electronically on a Ronin RS2 using a bmpcc 4k?

A: The Panasonic Lumix G 20mm f/1.7 II ASPH. Lens (Black) is compatible with the Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K. Autofocus will work through the camera. So you will be able to do that on the gimbal.

Q: 10. Does this hood provide better flare protection than the stock one?

A: A bit more, yes.
