A: its a common problem with all profoto products as I have hundreds of them. If you call profoto they will send you new ones no question asked

A: It fits, and works, but there is a down side.Every Beauty Dish has a soft area (the area which is covered by the deflector plate) and hard area (the area which is !not! covered by the deflector plate). If the grid is used with just the Beauty Dish, then it shows the grid pattern in the hard area (because its 50, and made for a softbox rather than a Beauty Dish). This can only be avoided by using it in conjunction with the diffuser (sock) - but than, its a little octa and not a Beauty Dish anymore. ;(Like it anyway.

If that is the case for your flash, then you would need to purchase the Profoto RFi Speedring for Bowens / Calumet / Aurora / Fomex Flash Heads, B&H # PRSRRB, to connect the Profoto 3' RFi Octa Softbox to your strobe. However, I would recommend contacting Godox to confirm that your model strobe indeed uses the Bowens S-mount speedring connector.
