This converter provides a variety of full scale standards for analog audio (+18dBu / +20dBu / +22dBu / +24dBu). Moreover, the analog audio adopts a balanced mode, while the digital audio adopts the BNC interface with an unbalanced mode.

Based on the Mini BOX platform, this converter adopts 24-bit processing to ensure good quality of audio signal after the conversion. The left and right channel can be flexibly combined via a DIP switcher to form 1 AES signal. The LED lights on the Mini box indicate the states of source signal and power. Being compact in size, this converter is used in a variety of environments like TV program post production, studio, broadcast, and more.

Q: 1. Where is the lens made?

A: The Hasselblad XCD 135mm f/2.8 is made in Japan.

Q: 2. How can I find a rear cap for sony VCL-ECF1 ? The regular Emount rear cap is too small

A: You will want to contact the manufacturer directly for a rear cap: http://bit.ly/1FAO6jI

Q: 3. I know it says "dedicated X converter" but can the converter be used on other XCD lenses?

A: Due to the optical element of the X Converter 1.7x protruding into the lens, the X Converter currently is only compatible with the XCD 135mm f/2.8 lens.

Q: 4. Will this fit on the Sony a6000 kit (16-50mm and 55-210mm lenses)?

A: No, you will need a prime lens like a 16mm

Q: 5. Can I connect a BMPCC6K to this via HDMI, with the SDI Out going into the ATEM Talkback Converter 4K (and subsequently to the ATEM Television Studio Pro 4K), the SDI In coming from the converter, and the HDMI out going to a monitor without any hitches?

A: The Camera Converter only connects to the Talkback Converter using dual fiber for full functionality.

Q: 6. Can the shade over the front of the lens be removed? Or is there one without the shade. I have a shade ring to mount on the lens inside my underwater housing to prevent reflections from the flash. This cannot be applied with the shade on the front of the lens.

A: The shade is not removable. I'm not aware of a version without the shade.

Q: 7. Difference from the VCL- ECF1? Just the exterior color?

A: Version two is different. It can be used on an SEL16F28 and a SEL20F28 lens. Version one works only on the SEL16F28 lens.

Q: 8. Can I use the ATEM Camera Converter as talkback even without a video input? We're planning to acquire the Talkback Converter 4K which has 8 i/o and connect 3-4 non-BMD cameras to it. We're curious if we can use the camera converter's talkback capability as communication devices with our audio guy and other crew.

A: If you are not going to feed PGM back to the cameras, you should simply feed one of the camera outputs on the Talkback Converter to the PGM In and use the loop to your switcher. That way there is a signal feeding back to all cameras that will carry talkback.

Q: 9. Will this work with other lens from the series? It might seem strange question but sometimes I like to see the result.

A: No it wont it wont even mount

Q: 10. Does the lens + converter come with a tripod collar and foot?

A: Yes the tripod mount ring is included in the package.
