Q: 1. 7d or 6d?

A: Hi Rafael, I have a 6D and my wife has a 7D. They are both great cameras, and I don't think you'd regret buying either one. Without knowing more about your situation and the kinds of photography that are important to you, it's hard to advise you on which camera to get, but here are some general thoughts that I can offer. If low-light performance is really important to you (for example, if you like to do night photography), the 6D will be superior. I think the noise at ISO 6400 on the 6D is about equivalent to the noise at ISO 3200 on the 7D. If you already have a collection of Canon EF-S lenses, you should know that they won't work on the 6D, so in that case you may prefer to get a 7D. Generally speaking, the lenses that you buy for the 6D will be more expensive and heavier than lenses that would give you equivalent performance (by which I mean, 35mm-equivalent focal length, and an equivalent maximum aperture) on the 7D. I don't know whether this platform provides a way for you to send me more questions, but if so I will be happy to answer them.

Q: 2. Do you take trades? I have 35 m/m camera's and lenses.

A: You can check the trade in value of your items here:https://a href= http://www.bhphotovideo.com/find/trade-in.jsp&cm_sp=Banner-_-Promotions-_-CashInYourGear target= _blank www.bhphotovideo.com/find/trade-in.jsp&cm_sp=Banner-_-Promotions-_-CashInYourGear/a

Q: 3. Are the camera and lens made in Japan?

A: Yes they are

Q: 4. Does this package include the Amex card ? The details on the card are very complicated.

A: no

Q: 5. Looking to upgrade from a rebel T6 Will my lenses fit the 6d? Thank you

A: If you have lenses with EF mount it will be no problen mouting this lenses in a 6D

Q: 6. I recently bought a Canon 6D camera. I have an old Sigma 50-500 mm zoom lens that I bought for a Canon Rebel FILM camera back in 2000. The lens is not with me right now, but I will have access to it in a couple of months. Will I be able to use the Sigma 50-500 zoom lens for the film camera with the new Canon 6D body? I also have a 1.4X and a 2X converter with the lens. Will these also work with the 6D body?

A: Any lens you had used on a Rebel 35mm film SLR would be compatible with your 6D as well, yes. They have the same compatibility. You could use the teleconverters with the camera as well.

Q: 7. Does this package include the free items from the 24/105 package? (Item CAE6D24105). When you hit the linking within the specs, it pulls to a page including the freebies(extra bag, etc.), but freebies not included in 'in the box' section. Just wanting to be clear. Thanks.

A: Mine didn't come with any extras - just the body and lenses. Very quick service and still working well.

Q: 8. Does it come with a charger?

A: Yes, the box did indeed contain a charger.

Q: 9. Can you put a Carl Zeiss Macro lens on this camera, and if so, which one is the best to use?

A: The Canon 6D has a Canon EF mount. If the Carl Zeiss macro lens is available with the Canon EF mount, then it will work well. B&H has many Carl Zeiss lenses with the Canon EF mount. There are 2 lenses (see below) designated as macro but they are not 1:1 magnification but rather 1:2.

Q: 10. Should I wait for the 6D mark II or just go with this?

A: 6D II specs are rumors at the moment. As stated by Charles, depends on your needs. Along with some new features will likely come a higher price. The current 6D is an outstanding entry level full frame DSLR. Great low light performance. It doesn't have as many focus points or frames per second, but I come from film days where focus point was singular and frames per second depended on how quick you were with your thumb. Don't get caught up in spec minutiae.
