The Avenview HDMI Unlimited LAN Extender Set over Single CAT6 is a transmitter and receiver set that extends an HD video signal with embedded audio up to 393 ft. You can connect the two directly or via a router. If directly, the transmitter sends the video and audio signal into the receiver's RJ45 input over a single CAT6 cable, and the receiver outputs the signal to a local display via an HDMI output. If via a router, the transmitter connects to the router and the router sends the signal to the receiver over an internet network. In this second scenario, up to 150 receivers can be connected and routed to at the same time. When using a router, you can establish and employ either an IP or DHCP address.

The max resolution the set supports is 1080p60/50 and the top audio quality is 7.1 surround sound or otherwise stereo digital audio.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will I lose autofocus using this extender on a Canon Rebel T7i w/100-400 mm 4.5-5.6 L II?

A: You will have autofocus up to 400mm but at times may not autofocus depending upon the lighting conditions.

Q: 2. I have the Canon EOS Rebel SL1, with an EF-S 55mm-250mm lens that i would like to use this with. is it compatible with my body and lens?

A: This Canon 2X EF Extender II is only compatible with a specific list of links (the list is posted under the Overview of the link for the extender). Unfortunately the Canon 55-250mm lens is not compatible with this teleconverter, nor is it compatible with any teleconverters. Zoom lenses whose widest focal is less than 70mm are not compatible with any teleconverters due to their design.

Q: 3. will this work with cannont2i camera and lens EF 70-300mm F 4-5.6 IS USM lens for autofocus?

A: According to the lens compatibility chart listed under the extender on Canon's web site, the answer is no.

Q: 4. can i use the Extender EF 1.4X III in the Canon TS-E 17mm f/4L lens

A: Unfortunately, the Canon EF 1.4X III is not compatible with the TS-E 17mm f/4L Tilt-Shift Lens.

Q: 5. does this have a warranty?

A: Yes. This Canon EF Extender 1.4x III comes with a 1-year warranty from Canon USA.

Q: 6. Will Auto-focus function work with the canon 200mm f/2.8?

A: I would assume so. I use mine with my 70-200 f2.8 and it works very well.

Q: 7. Hi, will autofocus work with 5D Mark IV snd 100-400 Mark II?

A: I have Canon 5d Mark IV and Canon 100-400mm is ii (4.5-5.6). You can AF with the LCD monitor, but the viewfinder is manual focus only. I still like it. At least I can be at 800mm sometimes and get the shot if I can't get closer. Just don't expect to track flying birds or anything. Keep in mind you'll be at f11 or more. I love the 1.4x extender. That's AF with the 100-400 is ii and you are effectively at a max of 560mm.

Q: 8. will autofocus work with a 6D mk 2 and the EF100-400 4.5 -5.6 L IS ?

A: Yes, it will autfocus using the center focus point on your camera but you may not get AF when zoomed all the way to 400mm.

Q: 9. I have a Canon EOS 60D with firmware version 1.1.2. Using a Canon EF 100-400 IS f/4.5-5.6L lens (the older version) will I have autofocus? If so, how many points of focus?

A: No you will not have auto focus

Q: 10. will this work with a Canon EF 70-300 IS USM telephoto and a EOS 60D body? if so are there noticeable autofocus challenges?

A: No, this converter only works with pro L series lenses, like the 70-200mm 2.8.
