The CCRT241 TFS ClearCom Interface from Tactical Fiber Systems links the Blackmagic-Design ATEM Studio Converter 1 or a single camera converter system to a wired ClearCom party line system. It includes a patch cable with a 9-pin connector at one end, and two 1/8" plugs on the other. The cable connects to the headset / microphone inputs of either a studio converter (when used with multi-fiber links) or a camera converter (when used with single fiber links). A standard 3-pin XLR cable connects it to any standard ClearCom 3-pin XLR Base Station or Belt-Pak connector. It is powered by the ClearCom connection and does not require additional external power.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Canon 580EXII flashes are notoriously noisy from an RF perspective which can interfere with the receivers attached to them. Any idea if the Phottix are less sensitive to the Canon RF noise in terms of performance (reliability and distance)?

A: The key to the RF noise problem is the operating frequency of the radio system. The interference was big for 340-354MHz and 433MHz systems. Phottix uses 2.4GHz which is completely out of the range of the 580EX noise. That said you will get the full Phottix specification, 100 meters+.

Q: 2. Is this compatible with the Godox V860 II flash?

A: Yes it is.

Q: 3. will this work on my sony a7r3 with full ttl?

A: The item was designed to give full TTL and compatibility of the flash.

Q: 4. How to set up and connect my Phottix Odin ii to trigger Indra 360?

A: If you have the first edition Indra 360, update the firmware to be controlled by the Odin II. There are 2 parts to the upgrade: firmware and display screen. Be sure to do both. Then set the Indra 360 for N , Nikon, and make any setting you want to be controlled by the Odin II.

Q: 5. Can I get a Phottix Odin II Transmitter for Sony to talk to a Nikon Phottix Odin II receiver? I have the Sony A7R II camera (and a bunch of Nikon SB-80s) wanting to trigger these off camera flashes (ideally, with control over them, but if nothing else, just to get them to fire in manual mode). If this won't make this happen, what combination would?

A: Sorry, no. You could use Strato II receivers on the Nikon flashes. They will fire on channels 1,2,3,4. The Strato II also has Groups but the groups will now work with the Odin Transmitters.

Q: 6. Will this item work with the Sony A7rii and TTL flashes?

A: Yes. It works with Sony cameras and flashes that have the multi-intercase connector, which includes the alpha 7 .

Q: 7. Will this cable work with the sony XLR-K2M XLR adaptor mic kit?

A: This is a TTL Flash Cord. We are not aware of this being able to work with the XLR-K2M product.

Q: 8. CAN I PURCHASE A SINGLE TALLY (IF I BUY A KIT AND ONLY NEED ONE ADDITIONAL)?

A: No, unfortunately the PTZCam TALLY4 4-Camera Wireless Tally System for Blackmagic ATEM Switchers only comes with either 4 or 8 tallies included, and we do not carry the tallies on their own.

Q: 9. If i use this on a Sony a7 iii , will it trigger my nikon receivers that I already own?? I have the phottix odin ii receivers for triggering strobes, but also have phottix mitros+ speed lights for Nikon.

A: You can trigger Odin II receivers and Mitros+ flash from this transmitter.

Q: 10. Does the 33' cord work with a Lumix FZ2500?

A: This cable will only fit Sony cameras with a Multi-Interface Shoe.
