The DVI Male To VGA HD15 Female Video Adapter from C2G is the standard interface for high-performance connection between PCs and flat panel displays, CRT displays, projectors and HDTV. A: No, the head on this monopod is a modified version of the MHXPRO-2W with a fixed base that does not pan.

A: By default, there are no mechanisms in this meant for shock absorption, but the Manfrotto XPRO aluminum video monopod does recover from impact and vibration relatively quickly. As far as we are aware, there is no intended device meant to work with this monopod that acts as a shock mount, save maybe a motorized gimbal attached to the end of the monopod (which also only sorta works against vibration).

A: I'm afraid that we do not have a shorter center column available for this tripod.

A: Yes, it does lock. It will actually hold my Canon 6d hands free (not recommended - but it will do it).

A: Yes it is. The 3/8 female thread on the head screws onto the 3/8 male on the tripod.

Q: 10. Does it need a video capture card or special driver to stream video to the computer? Or do you just plug in the USB and the computer recognizes it as a video source?

A: No capture card, driver or other equipment is required. The computer will recognize it as a Webcam. Instructions can be found on page 38 of the manual, which is available on our product page.
