Canare L-4e6s Star Quad Xlrm To Xlrf Microphone Cable (50', Green)
- Product Code: ga271150

The green, 50' L-4E6S Star Quad XLRM to XLRF Microphone Cable from Canare is especially designed for handheld microphone applications in live sound, rehearsals, and other situations. In addition to mic-level signals, the cable can also be used to carry line-level signals such as for connecting your mixer to power amps.
The L-4E6S Star Quad cable features a 4-conductor design that is engineered to substantially reduce vulnerability to electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference when compared with 2-conductor cables. It uses 21 AWG copper wire, which features cross-linked, flexible irradiated polyethylene insulation, which is designed to maintain maximum frequency response and to be more heat resistant than ordinary polyethylene. It also utilizes braided copper shielding, which is designed for greater noise rejection and durability than spiral shielding.
The cable also includes cotton filler, which is in place to help to cut down handling noise. This can be beneficial in handheld microphone applications in which the cable may be subject to a substantial amount of movement.
Braided Copper Shield Flexible in Extreme Cold Weather 4-Conductor-Style Construction Irradiated Polyethylene Insulation Designed for Handheld Mic Applications Reduced Handling Noise Rejects EMI and RFI 21 AWG Wire

Related Questions and Answers
Q: 1. My new50-140mm lens rattles inside when turned upside down. Is this normal?
A: Yes. Several of the lenses have components that float a bit until power is turned on. It's not a defect and doesn't hurt the lens in any way.
Q: 2. does it work with gh5 directly attached or it requires to purchase an adapter for that?
A: It's a Fujifilm XF mount lens designed for any Fujifilm X series camera. It would need an adaptor for other cameras.
Q: 3. how does this lens work with a full frame camera... i.e. D750
A: Not good , you would have to crop down the sensor to APS-C and the resolution would be around 10 megapixels
Q: 4. How is this lens on the RED Helium?
A: The RED Helium comes only in Super35 format. This 50-100mm is for APS-C/Super35 so you are good to go with that camera.
Q: 5. The lens has image stabilization. The Fuji X-T4 has in-body image stabilization. Are these two systems to be run simultaneously? Does this produce a better result than if only one system is running? And if the body is mounted on a tripod should both systems be turned off?
A: For cameras with IBIS, when used in conjunction with lenses that have stabilized elements, they typically work in tandem as some forms of stabilization are better in the camera body and some are better in the lens. Quality of stabilization will depend on various factors, such as which axis is the causing the instability/motion and which system is correcting for it. Typically though, results are better with both systems than with a single one. Yes, and no. For faster shutter speeds, the results should be imperceivable. For longer exposures, results again will depend on if there are still any vibrations/instability happening during the shot (usually even on a tripod there can still be vibrations from wind and the ground). I believe the general consensus is still to turn it off, but there are proponents debating on both sides of the argument. Its best that you test the results with your tripod/exposure length and compare the results magnified at 100/200% and see which are to your liking.
Q: 6. How would this lens compare with the DX 70-300 P with the FTZ adapter on a Z5?
A: They are very similar. Both are f /4.5-6.3. So about the same in low light. And both have VR. The big difference between them in the Design. The Z mouth lenses by Nikon are designed and optimized for Nikon Z mount mirrorless cameras. Meaning in general it will be better than the same lens in f mount. The adapter does not take away anything from the optics of the lens.
Q: 7. Does this lens have in-camera aperture control?
A: It does have aperture control when connected to Canon cameras, or electronic adapters with a Canon mount.
Q: 8. Is this lens compatible with the Fuji X-Pro1?
A: yes this lens and ALL XC and XF lenses are compatible with the Fuji X-PRO1 camera.
Q: 9. I have a Canon 77d that has no Micro AF adjustment. How much will the Sigma USB dock be able to do if I find I'm having critical focus issues?
A: You can fine tune the focus in four places in the lens's focusing area with the dock. See here in the manual. https://bit.ly/2V6bJT5
Q: 10. If I move it side-to-side, this lens makes an internal rattle. Any suggestions?
A: The internal rattle is emitting from the Optical Image Stabilizer in the lens. This is a normal occurrence.
