The VPLL-ZM101 is a Zoom long focus (Tele) lens. Once the lens is installed, the projector can be placed at a much longer distance to generate the same projected image as with the standard supplied lens.

A: Unfortunately, an add on lens that goes on a smartphone such as the Freewell Long Range Macro Lens does not give you a focusing scale like some photo lenses do, so you can't really know before using the lens at what distance the background will go out of focus. That is an inherent issue with add on lenses for smartphones.

A: This is a little over 2"

A: Just so you know, this works in conjunction with a case such as a Kinesis L622 PolyCore Long Lens Case 600 B&H # KIL622. That case, as is, is listed as being able to take a 400 f/2.8 lens plus camera. As such we do not think you need this insert for such a lens in that case. A: The European version of this projector is not compatible with the featured lens. Q: 8. Is it possible to use with a 85mm f1.4?

A: The Heliopan 72mm Long Metal Lens Hood will fit on any lens it a 72mm filter thread. They do not specify a focal range coverage. In most cases, an 85mm f1.4 lens comes with a hood provided by the lens maker and that included hood would be better for your lens. A: As the Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 12-60mm f/2.8-4 ASPH. POWER O.I.S. Lens uses 62mm filter thread, the Heliopan 62mm Long Metal Lens Hood would be compatible for use with the Panasonic Leica DG Vario-Elmarit 12-60mm f/2.8-4 ASPH. POWER O.I.S. Lens. Do note that the Heliopan 62mm Long Metal Lens Hood is designed for telephoto lenses, and as such, you may experience some vignetting when using this lens hood on your lens.

This is a no compromise case for shipping and transport of large lenses. Because of the thickness of its walls the overall dimensions are shocking - think of it as a desk sized wastebasket visually. I use it for meduim format lenses: Rollei Schneider AFD-Variogon 60-140mm f/4.6 PQS or Rollei Schneider Kreuznach Apo-Tele-Xenar 300mm f/4 HFT. In either case there's just enough room for a Lowepro Lens Case 11 x 26cm inside. In this way you can store the lens in the Lowepro or while on location but then slip everything in the Lightware tube when rough handling / shipping is expected. ***Also of note there is a 1 disk of high density foam on both the inside top and bottom which could be cutout or replaced with a thinner material if your lens needs a bit more room. It did take about 6-weeks to arrive on special order. 5

Fits my FX9 well with a Core power adapter and a Anton Bauer brick. It takes a minute to put it in, but once it’s on all controls are visible and accessible. Most importantly, it appears that it’ll keep everything dry. I’ve only had it if light drizzle so far and all was good. 5

The built-in hood is inadequate to suppress stray light. This hood doubles the length. Different black finish that the lens but it screws into the filter thread and is made to such exacting dimensions that its fit is seamless. Solves a problem and cannot complain. 5

I got this case to protect a Mac Pro when traveling, and it suits the computer beautifully. The Mac is safe and protected, and you can carry it with you. It is a little bigger than I imagined, but totally worth it if you care for your computer. 5
