The AVG-50 generates Vertical Interval Time Code and possesses the ability to insert VITC on to pre recorded video without visually changing the image. It features composite input/output capabilities.

Vertical Interval Time Code remains with the video even during time base correction and processing.

VITC can be inserted on the standard lines 13 and 15 or select a pair of 5 other line combinations.

A: Yes, the Ambient Recording TC-IO-35RA Bidirectional Time Code Cable can be used to jam timecode between the Sound Devices MixPre-6 II Recorder and the Alexa Mini Camera.

A: Google will have the best answers for both these questions. However, composite video equipment still finds limited use in legacy video systems and applications and in video monitoring applications such as in security and manufacturing systems..

Q: 5. Can this output both LTC and VITC at the same time?

A: The VLR-100 reads both VITC and LTC timecode and generates LTC timecode but does not generate VITC timecode. This permits the VLR-100 to translate VITC to LTC.

Q: 6. Does the bag have a belt loop so I can attach it to my belt while on set

A: This pouch does not have a belt loop; I have mine velcroed to my 1510 Pelican so I always know where it's at!

Q: 7. How to set the Generator to 1080i60 tri level in this case? I can't find the setting in the manual. There is 1080i 50. No 1080i60 tri level.

A: Page 86 in the manual shows the settings for 1080i60.

Q: 8. Does this come with software to control the unit?

A: Unfortunately it does not. The WinPlus-IP software that it integrates with directly is not included.

Q: 9. So can this generate a time (clock) sync to my 4 BM hyperdeck studio minis? so they all receive the same time whether they are all recording or not? So if one of the rec deck starts recording a later time it will match the other recorders that are currently recoding ? Assuming they are all connected to this device?

A: this is NOT a timecode in a (sync)generator. There is no external timecode input on the Hyperdeck Mini if you would like to embed time code it would have to be imbedded directly into the video using something like the Tentacle Sync Sync E Timecode Generator.

Q: 10. Does this overlay LTC onto a video input? Looking to put timecode in the bottom-right corner of an SDI video line.

A: While this does offer a Window Burn of Time Code, it is for a composite signal only. This system does not work with SDI.

I have this pouch for a standard acrylic slate instead of a time code slate. It works well for either type. Cinebags always puts out high-quality stuff even for this simple slate pouch. Construction is great and materials hold up well. 5

I purchased a EcoFlow Delta pro 3. I want to be able to charge the Delta Pro 3 in multiple ways if we have a hurricane here in Florida. Part of my plan is to get a dual fuel smart generator and I understand I need this adapter in order to connect the dual fuel generator to the Delta Pro 3. So I’m getting prepared! 5

I recently purchased an ecoflow smart generator because of its ability to charge DC to DC, ability to start from the app, ability to automatically start when my ecoflow delta pro or my ecoflow delta pro 3 SOC gets to low. It would be great if this adapter was included with the smart generator even if the price was increased to accommodate that. 5

The Smart Generator Adaptor (SGA) works!! The SGA allows a DC to DC Fast Charge between the Delta Pro 3 (DP3) and the Smart Generator (SG). With the SGA the integration of the SG and the DP3 is complete. With automations and or App settings the SG will auto start to charge the DP3. I especially like the “smart functions” of the generator through the SGA that controls the generator RPM. As the unit approaches the designated SoC the generator begins throttling back to cool the generator before turning itself off when the DP3 reaches the designated charge level. Well worth the investment! 5
