The Pro Lens Mount Adapter for Rolleiflex 6000-Mount Lens to Sony A-Mount Camera from FotodioX allows a Rolleiflex 6000-mount lens to be used with a Sony A-mount camera. It is designed to support focusing to infinity, and is constructed from brass and an aluminum alloy to provide a durable, yet lightweight camera-to-lens connection.

This adapter does not support electronic communication between an attached camera and lens. To control the amount of light that enters a Sony A-mount camera when using this adapter and a Rolleiflex 6000-mount lens, an iris is built into the Pro Lens Mount Adapter for Rolleiflex 6000-Mount Lens to Sony A-Mount Camera. This iris allows for approximate adjustments of brightness as well as depth of field along with a Sony A-mount camera set to manual mode.

To help prevent stress on the camera mount if the supported camera and lens combination is to be placed on a tripod, the Pro Lens Mount Adapter for Rolleiflex 6000-Mount Lens to Sony A-Mount Camera includes a detachable tripod foot that features 1/4"-20 threads.

To change the light coming in tfrom the lens the adapter has a diagram. So you do not change the f/stop. And because of the flange distance the adapter has a 1.4x lens in it. So any lens on it will be 1.4x times longer.

For anyone wondering about this item, it is impressively well made with a well engineered focusing mechanism. It easily supports the weight of the rather heavy Rollei lenses, with full coverage. I also use the same EOS-GFX adapter with an adapter for Rollei 6000 series lenses and this, too, is impressive with a built in diaphragm for aperture control. 5

Every one of my classic manual focus/manual iris Nikkor lenses fit well on this adapter, connected to my Sony FS7 super 35 broadcast 4K video camera. They all fit snugly, with very little play, and best of all, even the big, heavy lenses are well-supported by both ends of the adapter...so I have confidence it won't crack the unit or camera lens mount. It's solid, all metal. Lenses focus to infinity. All lens functions are manual, which is what I prefer as a 40 year veteran of full-size broadcast cameras. I'm glad my Nikkors have a new lease on life in the digital age! 5
