A: Contax / Yashica lens cannot natively be adapted onto a Nikon camera due to their shorter flange focal distance as compared to Nikon 45.50 mm vs 46.50 mm. The correction lens is needed to re adjust focus to infinity. While using a Nikon to MFT adapter may allow you to attach a lens to a BMPCC, we cannot speak for the resulting image quality of usable functionality.

If it does not the adapter has a diaphragm that you can open and close to control the amount of light getting to the camera.
