Putting it simply, this one lets you focus any distance.Depth of field isnt affected - you set that manually on your lens.The adapter works fine - havent had trouble with it.   A: I called Fotodiox and unfortunately, this adapter only works with the Canon M50 in MANUAL mode. It will not communicate any electronic auto functions to the lens. They have not developed a lens for the M series that will do that.
