Ok, so I have your attention. After hours of research on a product I had very little interest in purchasing, I decided on the Optoma Pro 150S. Review after review on the product was filled with glowing comments, some to technical for this poor ex-photographer to understand. I want to say that it was east to set up, and worked as promised - that is all I wanted. Only negative is that in this age of Mac's ruling the world, the company did not have enough foresight to include an adapter. Luckily I had one. Ed Lallo Newrsroom Ink

I set it up the day I recieved it and it worked! Usually I have to do a lot of trouble shooting and this set up like a dream. I expected I would need the room to be really dark, but it worked in a room that had daylight, only the thin curtains were drawn.

The camera is doing a great job with live-streaming our church service. We did have to down scale it for our provider but in time technology will improve in their end. The camera does not have any image stabilization so if you are zoomed in over a long range someone walking by will create a slight tremble in the image if you don’t have it mounted on something to absorb the shock. We are covering a distance of about 65 feet and it produces a great image for us.

I really enjoy the product. Perfect for what it was purchased for. Only draws are the difficulty of instillation with the universal mount and lack of paper manual. Projector is used for church and CD manual would have to be handy for quick reference. Paper guide is more easily assessible for trouble shooting; but I guess I could always print a copy:)

You'll want to look elsewhere if you're looking for more inputs. The projector is limited to VGA, S-video and composite inputs. So no DVI, component, or HDMI inputs if you're looking for one. Despite this, if you're looking to simply give presentations and project still images, this is the projector for you. It packs a whopping 3500 lumens and 3000:1 contrast ratio that has been a great addition to our church services. We don't have to dim/turn off the lights during service to read lyrics and we can leave the bible passage up during the sermon with all the lights on in the room.

Its cheap, its small and it does what I want it to do

I am delighted with the joystick camera controller. It is everything that we hoped that it would be. Its a huge step up in precise control for the camera - so much more sophisticated than the camera's included remote control that we were previously using. I am very satisfied.

This product works right out of the box. I was surprised at how small it was and delight that there was no lengthy technical set-up process. Out of the box I connected it to my computer and displayed a video on my office wall. The picture was clear and strong even with bright sunlight shining in the room. The first presentation was outside in the daylight, the picture was bright and very visible. I am very impressed with product at such a reasonable price.
