Q: 3. In which country is this amp manufactured?

Q: 4. What is the driver size for these headphones?

A: The AKG K240 feature 30mm drivers.

Q: 5. What is the sound quality like between the T20RP(Open) & The T50RP(Semi-Open), How different are they? how are the sound signature different between the two?

A: You may find the following information useful directly from Fostex's website on the 3 models:Offering three types with different sound characteristics; Open (T20RPmk3) for Deep Bass, Closed (T40RPmk3) for Focused Bass and Semi-Open (T50RPmk3) for Flat and Clear soundAs for actual comparisons, I haven't seen any.

Q: 6. Can I use 4 ohm speakers into this receiver?

A: Yes, you can connect speakers of any impedance to to this receiver. With that being said, the performance of this amplifier will vary depending on the power requirements of the speakers and the volume you are trying to play at. The lower the impedance of the speaker the greater the wattage output of the receiver could be. As with any receiver, volume should never be run so high that you experience distortion in the speakers; this would indicate the amplifier is too powerful for your speakers. If you are experiencing clean sound, but the amplifier is overheating and shutting itself off, you are running the receiver too "hot" (volume too high to accommodate for sudden spikes like a cymbal crash or thunder) and would need a receiver with more watts per channel.

Q: 7. What is single-ear-monitoring? Is it both channels in one ear?

A: The Yamaha HPH-MT5 Studio Monitor Headphones (Black) have moveable earcups that allow for single-ear monitoring i.e. only one earcup would be over your ear, while the other is not. This type of feature is typically used to help you hear your own voice better while singing, which would help you stay in tune.

Q: 8. Can you play different sources on channel A and B at the same tine?

A: No it cannot.

Q: 9. Is it good for musicians(keys)

A: I am a musician and home recording enthusiast. I had a pair of these headphones 20 years ago and I decided to buy them again. They are just really good, basic, headphones. Whether you play keys or other instruments should not be what makes you decide. Headphones should give an accurate, flat response for whatever music you listen to so you can make decisions about your tone. I really dont want to spend over $100 for headphones. I only use these at night (when its too quiet to listen to studio monitors or recording when you cant have the monitors bleed thru the track so these were really the choice that made the most sense for me.

Q: 10. connecting R-S202 to Pioneer FS52 Floor standing speakers should I use regular wiring or bi-wiring? Which is one is better?

A: The Yamaha R-S202 Stereo Receiver with Bluetooth (Black), B&H # YARS202BL, should sound more or less identical regardless of whether it has standard wiring or bi-wiring. Bi-wiring can potentially reduce resistance within the wiring, but this difference would likely not be audible on any equipment being used outside of a professional studio, and therefore wouldn't make much of a difference on this particular receiver.

Lets categorized by parts:
1- Construction: Feels sturdy noone can say other words
2- Packaging: Yamaha never dissapoints
3- Usage: You can use it for mixing, even mastering but i recommend for record only.
4a- Frequency response: Sounds heavenly, but some mid/high frequencies in S's sound a bit bright (listening a song), the owners can say what i mean.
4b- Frequency response: i used it to record some vocals and speeches myself, with a hand held microphone, i must say it sound clearly, loud and responsive.
5- Time of usage: Watch out because it is a closed back headphone, it gets warmed, and can be a bit of sweat while using these as well of not much at all pain for long periods of usage.
6-Noise Cancelation: Yes even when it is not active noise canceling, you can hear yourself for sure with noise outside the pad.

My go-to cans for casual listening, podcasts, and editing. Lightweight, durable, excellent overall sound. Read the reviews. Surprised these don't more love. Sure, for about triple the price, I would go with the Beyerdynamic DT 700 Pro X model, but these Yamaha's are really fine for most people who aren't doing high-end monitoring / editing for a living.

So they are great. It's strange that they aren't more popular than they should be. The sound it's perfectly balanced which is great for mixing.

I use this product as a reference check while mixing. These headphones are especially good for hearing midrange and high frequency issues in the mix. Any sibilance problems will stand out clearly with these headphones. A very useful tool for hearing unwanted artifacts that result from compression, EQ, vocal tuning, reverb, etc. A small minority of folks may find these headphones pleasing for casual music listening, but I would not recommend these headphones for that purpose. They are far too detailed and critical. Not necessarily the flattering type of listening experience. Rather, they are a useful tool for a recording engineer or producer who needs to hear subtleties within the complex layer of music. Headphones such as the K701s are just about necessary for the artist who wants to create professional quality, artifact-free recordings.

I play on my guitar but I'll never have a call to get in a band - I'm terrible. At least it's only me who can listen to it. For the Yamaha headphone? It's great. I've also listened to some old albums with them. Go ahead, buy them.

Wide, reasonably smooth frequency response. I found they needed very little EQ. Clean highs and none of the gritty midrange of some other inexpensive headphones. Don't get brutal with the wires and they'll be fine. For $35 they are a winner.

These Austria made AKG's are pretty nice to have and Ive wanted a pair for quite a while and couldn't resist when I found them at B&H. Very nice way to monitor and mix without the room affecting the sound. They are lightweight and have a more plastic feel than I figured they would by the picture but if they are taken care of should last many years. The sound is the most important thing and they have a nice uncolored sound, especially after breaking them in. Good stuff.

I tested the 50 and 150B Yamaha headphones to hear the same brand N3X hybrid piano.  Dont let anyone tell you that the 50 model is sufficient to hear your digital piano.  First, sound quality is so far above in every category of sound duplication. My wife told me that she actually looked to check if she had plugged in headphone---it was that realistic. Next, comfort, from the material around the ears, padding for the top of your head, even the simple 90 degree angling of the plug ( for finding blind spots under the keyboard ) makes using  this very pleasant. This model has one wire reaching up to your head over your shoulder, instead of the stuck- on- your- chest 2 wire on the 50 model.  After spending so much for a digital keyboard, why water down the experience for a few bucks ?
