Q: 1. Will the Peak Design Capture Clip V3 work with this head unit?

A: Im sorry Ive only use my ball head several times so I am not able to answer your question

Q: 2. Hi, does anyone know what is the difference between Benro B2 and Benro IB2 Ball Heads and which is better?

A: generally the ib2 is rated for less load. the b2 is slightly bigger and maybe better build.

Q: 3. What is the vertical tilt of the IB2? The Benro B2 lists vertical tilt of -45° to +90°. Thanks in advance.

A: The IB2 has a -45 (wall) to +90 (notch) angle as well.

Q: 4. Does the Benro B2 ball head really have a panning scale as the description indicates? I don't see it in the photographs. Thanks.

A: Yes, there is a cutout at the base that shows the panning scale.

Q: 5. Does anyone know if my ProMediaGear C60 Arca-Type Quick Release Clamp can be used on this Benro B2 ball head?

A: While it may be possible to mount the ProMediaGear C60 Arca-Type Quick Release Clamp to the Benro B2, it has not been tested to our knowledge.

Q: 8. Are the knobs made of metal or plastic? ??

A: Knobs are metal with rubber grips. Great ball head - I like it better than the Oben head I have.

Q: 9. How do I adjust the friction and pan? The knobs (including head locking) are extremely tight.

A: The ball operates with the locking knob and friction-control/tension knob, while the pan-axis uses the separate pan-locking knob. Typically, it operates without much effort. Q: 10. What is the ball sphere diameter of this head?

A: The height of this head is3.9 (10 cm) while the maximum diameter 2.5 (64 mm).

I bought this head and I loved it. I really liked that you can lock the movement of the ball head and adjust the friction level with two different knobs. I also liked that you can adjust the panning with a separate knob. I tried the ball head out and really did not like the release plate with a knob. I prefer the quick release plate to lock in place much easier and quicker than this one. If you like this ball head, buy it. As for me, I returned it and purchased another Benro ball head with a quick release plate.

If 22 pounds will suit your needs this little ball head does the job very well for a very modest cost. The friction control knob helps you regulate how quickly the head will move. It's a nice way of keeping your camera from flopping around as you move it.

Really like this Benro Triple Action Ball Head. Ball and base move smoothly. Comes with an ARCA plate. Holds my D 850 w/ battery grip and Nikon 16-35mm on an ARCA L mount with ease. It's the perfect size.

Purchased the IB2 with a Benro Mach3 tripod and am very happy with the quality, weight, and stability of this ball head. I shoot with a Nikon D850, 70-200 2.8 w/ 2x converter (my longest/heaviest set up) and the head is rock solid in windy conditions. If you shoot the longer lenses I would go with the Benro B3 or up. For the price this is a quality ball head with all the features of a much more expensive head.

I use it with a Nikon D850 and large telephoto lens. Together they are heavy, and this holds it very well.

Everything about this ball head meets my needs. Camera slides on easily and locks securely. Dials move smoothly and make it easy to make the small moves to get that perfect focus. I recommend this head for anyone wanting to make using a tripod comfortable and effective.
