I needed a solution that would allow me to shoot images remotely. After studying the options that are available I decided to try the Vello unit. I did a photo shoot the next day and was very happy with the results and the use-ability of the system to get the kinds of images I needed. A very inexpensive and useful system for remote work. 5

Well when I bought this product I was already looking at something that I did not plan to use very often. Now that I got it I have started to find some more uses and the results are just great. I am using mine with a Nikon D4 because sometimes my wife and I want to take some pictures of ourselves at different tourist locations and to keep running back and forth setting the camera caused us to limit the number of pictures that we took. Now we can clown it up and just keep shooting and the results are great. Very easy to set up and works well in any location. 5

1.� I was able to immediately have successful remote use of this item with my Canon T1i camera. 2.� I was also able to have successful use of this remote with my new Canon 5D Mark III camera.� This required being able to correctly insert the 3-prong plug into the shutter release slot.� Buyers should be aware the the plug has to be aligned correctly withe the 3 bars on top and bottom and snapped in for a tight fit. 5

I use this remote with a Panasonic FZ-1000.� The Panasonic adapter cable that came with the remote was DOA.� Called manufacturer, (Vello) and explained the problem.� Customer service was excellent. They shipped replacement cable, no charge.� It now works beautifully.� Couldn't ask for a better wireless shutter release. 5
