Designed to eliminate the extra step of finishing the screen with trim, the 220V 21804EBLSI Tensioned Advantage Electrol 50 x 80" Ceiling-Recessed Motorized Screen from Da-Lite is designed with ceiling trim already in place. Once the screen is installed, the screen's trim conceals the rough opening eliminating the need to complete additional trim work. Sliding installation brackets are included to make it easy to attach the screen housing to the structure above the drop ceiling.

The Advantage Electrol screen features simple in-ceiling installation that can be done in two stages. The screen case can be installed during the rough-in construction stage and the fabric assembly can be completed during the finishing stage.

Note: This box is part of a system. To complete the system you will also require the fabric, roller, and motor assembly. Purchasing the box first allows the box to be installed during the "rough-in" phase of construction. The screen and other components can then be installed once construction is complete. Please be sure to select the fabric, roller, and motor assembly with the exact size and features as designated by this box. The fabric, roller, and motor that goes with this model number is: 21804EFLSI.

Q: 1. Do these cd’s come with plastic case? With paper sleeves??

A: THe Maxell CD-R 80 32x Music Gold - for Audio Recording (Spindle Pack of 50) BH #MACDRM50 comes in a spindle, no paper sleeves or cases for individual discs are provided.

Q: 2. Can it be sync with timecode with a BMPCC 6K Pro?

A: Although both the Tentacle Sync TRACK E Pocket Audio Recorder with Lavalier Mic and Timecode Support and the Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro have timecode functionality, it may be hard to jam sync the two together. Neither device outputs timecode, other than the 6K Pro via the HDMI signal. In this scenario, neither device is capable of acting as the main clock source.

Q: 3. How can I listen to the audio as it's being recorded? Let's say I'm using a Canon c300 or even a Red Komodo?

A: Sorry, no headphone output, and the input connector is locked, so, there is no way to use a monitoring cable.

Q: 4. Compatibility question. Is this the right Sanken COS 11D model for this recorder? https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/926368-REG/sanken_cos_11d_pt_1_8_trs_be_lavalier_microphone_with_5_9.html

A: The Tentacle Sync TRACK E Pocket Audio Recorder with Lavalier Mic and Timecode Support has a "Sennheiser style" input wiring, so a Sanken COS-11D wired for Sennheiser should work well.

Q: 5. Will it be possible to listen into the audio feed via the app, using your phones headphones?

A: Audio can only be monitored from the actual recorder, not the app. Be aware that US models do not allow monitoring while recording, so you would check audio before rolling, and afterwards for confidence. .

Q: 6. Will this adapter work directly with 77mm Rokinon Cine lenses? The outside diameter at the front of my cine lenses appear to be approximately 80-83mm, where the lens hood would mount. Does this adapter clamp onto the outside of the lens thread where a lens hood would sit?

A: For my understanding, this particular Genustech Clamp On adapter 80 mm ring is a 'stand alone' clamp on adapter that will only work with a modified lens type or those Duclos Lens, in which I never had used one before. It will not work with any type of screw in adapters or screw on lens. I had ordered this adapter once before and hope that it would work on both my Canon lens and Samyang (Tokinon South east asia title?) with a screw on adapter lens for various size. But it doesn't work. So i had to order screw on adapter ring instead to be able to fit on my Genus Tech matt box.Hope this help.

Q: 7. can this be used in tilta matboxes 114?

A: The SmallRig Clamp-On Ring Kit for Matte Box 2660 (80/85/95/110mm to 114mm) can be considered for use with 114mm opening matte boxes like the Tilta 3-Stage 4 x 5.65" Carbon Fiber Clip-On Matte Box (114mm Back). See the link below: https://bhpho.to/3ZJUBPJ

Q: 8. What is the depth of the rings?

A: The ring thickness of the SmallRig Clamp-On Ring Kit for Matte Box 2660 (80/85/95/110mm to 114mm) is not listed. It looks to be about 3/8" / 9.3mm.

Q: 9. Can I monitor audio with my bluetooth connected wireless headphones from my iphone that has the app and is also connected to the Tentacle via bluetooth?

A: No, the Bluetooth feature on the Track E is only for syncing and it does not carry an audio signal for headphones, just status. Perhaps they may add that type of option in the future. For now, the only way to listen to the audio for monitoring is through the wired headphone jack on the Track E.

Q: 10. does it work with the genustech production matte box?

A: The Genustech G-COAR-80 Clamp-On Lens Adapter Ring for Select Matte Box (80mm) is designed for the the GML Lite, GWMC Wide Angle, and GPVCMC Panavision Wide Clip-On Matte Boxes and would not be compatible with the Genustech Production Matte Box System.

I use this unit for much of my video work in manufacturing facilities, where ambient noise is high and boom mics are impractical. I leave the TRACK E in float recording mode and have never had clipped audio, and the files drop right into Davinci Resolve. The battery has always lasted long enough for my needs without going dead, with some days having 4-5 hours of recording. Also, the audio files are continuous, not broken into time-limited segments.
The lav mic is adequate and requires little EQ for my purposes, and if the included one ever goes dead I'll just replace it with the same thing. This is the one piece of equipment that I never have to worry about settings on.

32 Bit Float...Nothing more to say.

Probably one of the best investsments I've made as a small creative studio running audio and manning a camera at the same time. To rely on the 32 bit float is a dream, however it is unfortunate that we can't monitor the audio at the same time as your recording.

Other than that, jamming timecode into these was a small learning curve but ultimately everything worked out.

The case is plastic, the price is a bit steep but for what these little things can do, 32bit float / timecode sync with other like devices, this system helps for small one stop shop video productions.

I have used this to record several tutorial videos where I am walking around the room. I use it in conjunction with a Rode NTG5 when sitting at my desk.

The 32-bit audio means you do not have to worry about levels or clipping. It's truly set-and-forget.

I jam-sync the timecode with an UltraSync One, since the Tentacle Sync-E are hard to find. No issues, but you have to power-off the device, plug-in the timecode source, then power-on. It works most times, but occasionally the timecode won't take, and you have to power cycle it again. Once synced, it works flawlessly. I only record for at most two hours, so I haven't tested the limits of it's accuracy.

The lav mic quality is not as good as my shotgun (maybe that's expected) but it's still good enough. The mic has a screw-lock, and the cable is extremely long.

You can power-off the device, and connect it to the computer. It appears as a drive, so copying data over is also quite easy.

My expactations were not super high for something so inexpensive but i did my first shoot with it this week and i'm totally thrilled with it. First of all its very easy to use, the tentacle app works great, i can listen to what i'm recording using my phone but with a slight delay. i plugged in my B3 mic and it took less then 60 seconds to get it setup in the app. once set up it only takes seconds to put on someone, then it will record for like 12 hours, both battery and memory card, its just amazing.

It's great for outdoor shoots. When we used the fuzzy mic covers our sound was perfect.

It takes a lot of things coming together to make the perfect device, one that will both streamline and energise your workflow. The Track E and the Sync E from Tentacle are two such devices. The built-in timecode functionality alongside the 32-bit float recording work together to give you unprecedented control over two important facets of the production process. Integrates seamlessly with the app through which you can control multiple units. Compact, reliable and an indispensable part of my kit.

I produce a fishing show for TV and these replaces six wireless mic systems and a 6-channel digital recorder. The wireless system needed 28 AAs to operate for about 9 hours plus another 28 AAs if it went longer.

These take up a fraction of the space and weight, doesn't require coordination of radio channels and doesn't require bulky battery chargers for remote location work.

Audio quality is very nice, a bit warm. And they ran for 15 hours during a couple of duration tests.

The Tentacle app makes setting up and running them very easy. And it's possible to deactivate the slider switch on all the units so that the person being recorded can't stop the recorder or turn it off by accident.

Of course the ability to synchronize all the recorders, along with all the cameras connected to Tentacle Sync timecode generators makes it very easy to line up all the tracks in post-production.

For me, working as a one-man band, these greatly reduce the workload and worry in the field. And it's pretty easy to add as many channels needed. I was running six independent audio channels. Now I can run more if needed because I'm not limited by the channels of a separate audio recorder.
