UPS devices function as backup power sources to help maximize your run time while reducing your risk of data. The RBC17 consists of one sealed lead-acid battery with cables and connectors that have a capacity of 12V and 9Ah. It arrives pre-charged and has an expected lifespan of 3-5 years. This unit is also plug and play and hot swappable, which in not only helps simplify installation, but also creates little to no network downtime during installation. Included are all required connectors, cables, fuses and metal enclosures, where applicable. This product is made in the USA.

A: This is a direct fit for the unit and replaces RBC123 directly. Time remaining will look shorter than actual if the unit is designed for the lower capacity unit, but time is extended. I replaced the unit long after warranty expired so was not an issue for me.

The ups unit was no longer able to protect the equipment from power failures. The battery was dead. All that was needed to bring new life into the ups unit was a new battery. Changer presto the new batter was slipped into the ups, and allowed to charge. The new battery should be good for another two to three years before needing replacement. I just hate to junk a good expensive ups unit just because the battery died. 5

This was exactly what I needed, as it was time for my UPS battery to be replaced. B&H had it in stock, at a competitive price, and shipped quick. I really like CyberPower UPS units for their features as well as the ease of keeping them going well into the future! 5

Real Cyberpower goodness :) ie actually from cyberpower and not some other company. I used two with the shim from my old battery pack to make a new pack that uses 2x9Ahr batteries instead of 2x8Ahr. Works great and has more runtime now. Couldn't be happier. 5
