Bought this stand as an upgrade to my previous Impact monitor stand for focus pulling. Needed something that could bring the monitor to a low height for sitting, sturdier build, wider wheel radius, and Rocky Mountain leg. Perfect monitor stand, can’t recommend it enough, and just bought a second one for my production monitor setup.

Used an Avenger 17 stand for years and drug my ffet on spending the money for this stand. I am very happy with the stand and no longer need to put a shot/sand bag on my stand as I did with the Avenger 17 folding stand.

This mf glides around like nobodys business. Locks are strong; everything has that Matthew's quality we know and love.


No more asking grips for C-Stands. This is much nicer for faster-paced sets.

Definitely more money than the competitor but I know it's going to last and is a solid stand. Used it on a shoot and it's basically a perfect stand for my monitor.

I initially purchased this to mount a talent monitor on it for a studio shoot. Instead of paying 1K for a talent monitor that matched my teleprompter, I bought this stand and mounted one of my studio monitors with a vesa mount. The entire set up was still less than buying the talent monitor. I also used this recently on a photo shoot to mount my flash. The only down side to using it as a flash mount is that it only goes up to 6 feet. It worked fine for that particular shoot, but I could have use another 1-2 feet to get the proper 45 degree angle I wanted for my subject. The images turned out great, but I will go back to my c-stands and sand bags. This stand is solid enough to mount almost anything on it. Well worth the price.

I was using another brand of wheeled stands and got a shutter dolly system that was too heavy for my other stands. I kept seeing these and gave them try. The first thing I noticed was when folded the footprint is much smaller. It's super easy to open and close without the need to pull pins on each leg. I read a review about the smoothness of the wheels and they are top notch. Very smooth rather on carpet or hard surfaces. When spread out you don't feel like it will tip over so there's no need for any sandbags. The braking system is excellent and very simple to engage and unlock. It weighs about 17 pounds or so which is not bad considering how strong it is. It is a very solid system and you do not get the feeling it will let you down. Definitely worth it if you are looking for something to last you years.

I use this to tote around a 25 OLED monitor with a block battery. Super sturdy and great build quality. I probably will order another : )
