Reminiscent of days spent in a traditional darkroom, FB Gold Silk 315 Baryta Paper from PermaJetUSA, available here in a 25-pack of A3+ sheets, has a heavy 315 gsm fiber base with a barium sulphate coating that will help produce images with deep blacks and smooth whites. The 12.2 mil thick paper offers a silky satin finish as well as a warm tone that emulates traditional darkroom papers. Also, it has a rated whiteness of 101% and is both acid-free and water resistant for longevity.

A: Emulsion IN would refer to 24 x 66' and 50 x 50' rolls of this paper, which has the emulsion side of the paper rolled inward. Both rolled and sheet options come in a glossy finish.

Q: 7. how long for per roll?

A: I've not bought any rolls; only sheets. This item appears to be 66' though.

Q: 8. Will this paper be damaged by airport security check X-ray scan machines or it's package protects the paper from this problem ?

A: Theoretically, it is possible that high strength X-ray machines can fog film or paper, which is typically the case with checked bagged rather than hand-carry/carry-on which typically use a weaker form of x-ray radiation.

Q: 9. is this paper double sided?

Q: 10. I have old and recent b&w slides; anyone have experience printing with an enlarger on this paper? Pre-flash? General exposure length? Preferred developer? Thanks in advance!

Although I prefer the texture of the cotton baryta, this paper saves me some cash and still delivers quality. Paper feels thick, heavy and very high quality. I haven't created a custom profile yet, believe it or not I have been using another profile however, I like the results. 5

Very heavy paper with a great surface. So heavy that I sometimes have to fiddle with the vacuum strength and/or head height, but it is worth it. 5

I have used most of Hahnemuhle’s fine art papers, and this one is by far my favorite. Deep blacks, rich colors, and great contrast help your images really pop off the page. Well suited to both color and black and white images. I mostly use this smaller letter size for test prints and printer calibration before printing on its big brother at the 13x19 size. I hope to continue buying this paper for many years. 5

I find this paper to be a nice all-arounder. There is excellent contrast and color. The surface has a nice gloss with some texture. 5

I have been using Hahnemuhle Baryta FB for 5 or so years with my Epson 3880 to exhibit fine art photography. I love this paper! The company has ICC profiles that you can download and use with Photoshop. The paper is heavy duty and constructed well. It accepts pigment inks brilliantly and is beautiful. I can't speak highly enough of this paper. The only con I have for this product is that is bends at the corners and one has to straighten it out before printing. This is not due to faulty product however, rather it is because of the weight of the paper. It isn't a problem if you remember to lightly bend it at the corners before inserting into the printer. 5

This paper is the thickest (350 GSM) and has a wonderful surface too. I have been using this paper for a couple of years and will continue to use it, as long as it is being manufactured... 5
