Q: 2. are these water resistent?

A: I print using a Canon Pro-100 using dye inks. With this paper and ink combo, the paper is relatively water resistant. If I spill water (or coffee) on a photo, I can wipe it off with a paper towel without any ink smearing. But I would not want to submerge it for any length of time. :)

Q: 3. What is soft gloss compared to regular gloss?

A: I have both the Premium Plus Photo paper in both the soft gloss (8.5x11" paper) and just gloss (5x7" paper). The soft gloss is more like a matte finish, with finely mottled surface.

Q: 4. Will this paper work in my Canon MP990 color printer. I have used HP Premium Photo Paper, Matte for many years and now have to find something else seeing as it is no longer available. I do a lot of photography and that paper was perfect.

A: They may not have made a profile for the Canon IPF6400 printer. So in that case I would suggest using the closest Canon option. Canon Premium Fine Art Smooth.

A: No the paper only comes single-sided.

A: The Canon SG-201 Photo Paper Plus Semi-Gloss is for inkjet printers only. Currently we do not sell a semi gloss paper for laser printers .
