This delivers exceptional detail and clarity along with a high Dmax and a wide color gamut that will give your images an almost 3D effect. Also, it measures 11 mil thick and has a rated whiteness of 96%. Additionally, black and white and HDR images will greatly benefit from the tonal range of the surface.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can the Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Book & Album Paper be folded without cracking the surface? I'm making book with folded pages.

A: The Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Book & Album Paper (Short Grain, 11 x 17", 25 Sheets), B&H # HAPRA111725, is not recommended for this use case. If it does not show cracking right away, it will over time.

Q: 2. How is this paper different from regular Entrada Rag 300 Bright?

A: I believe that the word Duo just means that it is printable on both sides. It is my understanding that all of the Entrada paper is that way. I think that they just worded it differently from one entry to the other.

Q: 3. Can you print double sided on this paper?

A: I've just read three "No" answers to the question, "Can you print double sided on this paper?" But the paper in question is Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Book & Album paper (Short Grain, 8.5 x 11"), which is clearly described as "Double-Sided" and that means both sides can be printed. And to my personal knowledge it can be printed on both sides. That's why it's a good "Book" paper. The answer to the question is "Yes".

Q: 4. compared to Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Bright White?

A: The Moab Entrada Rag Bright 300 Paper is similar in thickness and printing surface compared to the Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Bright White. However, the Moab paper is double sided while the Hahnemuhle is whiter.

Q: 5. is this paper double sided?

A: PermaJetUSA Ultra Pearl 295 Digital Photo Paper (17" x 98.4', Roll) BH #PEAPJ51058 is a single sided paper.

Q: 6. Is this paper pre-treated with cyanotype chemicals, or is it intended to be treated by the end user with chemicals purchased separately?

A: Flic Film Cyanotype Paper (A4, 30-Sheets) must be treated before making an image.

Q: 7. What is the surface texture like--mat, textured, etc?

A: The Moab Entrada Rag Bright 300 Archival Inkjet Paper (17" x 40' Roll) BH #MOEB3001740 has a smooth matte texture.

Q: 8. Will this paper work well with with an hp printer?

A: Moab Entrada Rag Natural 300 Paper is too thick (22.5 mil) and too heavy (300 grams per square meter) to safely print on most HP printers. The only HP printers that were able to handle such papers were the HP Photosmart pro b8850 and the HP Photosmart pro b9180 printers and HP printers 24"and larger that take a 3"core.

Q: 9. Is this paper dual side by any chance ? are both sides glossy ?

A: The PermaJetUSA Gloss 271 Digital Photo Paper (8 x 10 , 25 Sheets) B&H # PEAPJ50808 is single side.

Q: 10. Will it print on Epson SureColor P800? If it will, what paper type should I select from the printer?

A: Hi Jasper, Yes, the Moab Entrada Rag Bright 5x7 is compatible with the P800. Moab has free profiles available on their site for downlaod (a href= http://www.moabpaper.com/icc-profiles-downloads/ target= _blank www.moabpaper.com/icc-profiles-downloads//a). The media type recommended is Enhanced Matte or Archival Matte or Ultra Premium Presentation Matte if using the sheet feeder; or Watercolor Radiant White if using the Fine Art Feeder Tray

This is my go to paper for all of my portrait prints. I love it and so do my clients.

I found this a beautiful paper to work with, providing rich blacks
and colors. People at opening asked how I got such vibrant colors.
Prints looked a bit on the dark side when they first emerged, but
more shadow detail appeared as they dried.

After having finished printing a box of this, I can say that this is one of my favorite archival printing papers now.

First, the weight: At 305 gsm and 16mil thickness, this is a VERY substantial feeling paper, nearly like cardstock, although it passes just fine through the standard feeder on my Epson R3000.

The Look: The barium sulphate surface has a nice sheen to it that falls squarely between a luster and a glossy finish, and the texture of the cotton rag paper shows through ever so slightly on the image if you rake a light across the surface. Under normal viewing conditions, the image comes across with a palpable sense of depth to it, but with no obvious texture from the paper or finish.

The Color: This will be what makes or breaks most people's decision on whether they like this paper. This is one of the warmer colored papers you can get. By itself, you might never notice that it isn't dead-on white, but next to something like Canson Infinity Platine or any paper with optical brighteners in it, it's obvious that this paper possesses a slightly warmer tone to it. That, to me, is part if its charm.

For B&W prints, I love the look that the added warmth gives to my prints. For color prints, just keep in mind that the color balance of you print will be shifted warmer in the highlights unless your printer has a dedicated white ink. This can be used to artistic effect, or could throw off your desired color balance. It's just something you need to understand to make sure you get the look you want.

And finally, no Optical Brightening Agents! So this is an outstanding archival paper.

This is one of the really interesting papers I use periodically. The color of the stock and the image tone make it somewhat of a match to Ilford Multigrade Warm Tone FB in the darkroom. Its surface also approaches some of the qualities of excellent enlarging papers of the past. It accepts a lot of ink, so colors can be made very intense. I find that I need to introduce an added curve in addition to either my own profile or the manufacturer's profile, which is somewhat unexpected in a high-quality paper, so there's something in my printer (Canon iPF8100) or workflow I can't explain. I see no reason why Moab shouldn't produce, in addition to Juniper, the same paper with a more neutral paper base, and I would be delighted to see the surface texture made just a little finer, but these are minor points. Everyone should give this paper a try, and some will probably find it as invaluable as I do.

I've tried many, many papers over the years trying to find the right combination of nice tonal ink shifts and a sharp yet temperate paper surface. This Legion paper has worked that magic for me. Amazingly easy to print--incredible definition and surface detail across such a wide paper is just perfection. It responds to high resolution files so well. Time to tune the linearization and ink mixes--it brings passion and skill back to printing.

Excellent for B&W and color. Amazing gamut, especially on B&W on my Canon Pro-1000. This is my go-to paper for exhibition and contests. Very heavy weight as well.

I purchased this paper to print bin prints for sale at Gallery 6, the leading photography gallery in Denver. I love that I was able to get accurate color using the Canon Luster color profile with my Canon ROW-1000 printer.

I'm using 17x22 with this paper, producing stunning images.
