Q: 1. does this can have allowe flow adjustment by turning the valve?

A: No, the output flow of the CAIG Laboratories DeoxIt D5S-6 Strong Deoxidizer Spray is not adjustable. It has a standard push-button like a common aerosol spray can.

Q: 2. Can I connect a graphic equalizer and adjust the sound?

A: You would need to go from your source device into the graphic EQ and then into the Marantz receiver to be able to do that.

Q: 6. Will this unit transmit 3D Movie signals from my OPPO 3D Player to my 3D LG TV as my old Marantz(10 plus yrs) does?

A: Yes, this unit would be backward compatible with older HDMI devices. As long as the TV is also 3D capable this receiver can pass the signal through.

Q: 7. Can I hook an equalizer to the Marantz power amplifier?

A: Unfortunately newer Amplifiers (and Receiver Amplifiers) no longer offer the ability to connect a separate Equalizer like the older models. The current models no longer provide Input / Output ports for Equalizers.

Q: 8. Can this product be used to clean internal memory card contacts like the ones found on a CF Card or CF Express card? Will spraying this in the card damage it?

A: The CAIG Laboratories DeoxIt - Strong Deoxidizer Spray is designed to deoxidize metal surfaces and electronic components. While it may work to clean contacts on flash memory cards, we do not recommend using Deoxit in this manner before first verifying it is safe for this use directly with the card manufacturer.

Q: 9. Does the Marantz stereo power amplifier has a midrange sound control?

A: This power amp does not have tone control. A preamp would be paired with this amp, and provide for tone control.

For the longest time was having issues w/ audio connections, esp. for my Sennheisser HD-25 headphone cables, so I would just replace them. This saves me $$$ by just cleaning the connections! Highly recommend if you have audio equipment (lots of it). 5

I purchased this kit to clean and protect a vintage Roland M-24E (their 24-Channel Mixer from 1988). It restored every channel and got rid of any sound crud from age. I'm super thankful! And the protectant gives me peace of mind. I used about half of each container to clean 14 XLR and 72 line inputs, but wasn't trying to conserve it. With more care, you could easily stretch these little bottles out across a wide range of devices. The cleaning tools will need to be replaced but they are very inexpensive and can be bought in bulk. 5

Nicely lubricates faders after cleaning. The tube helps get to where the product is needed. There is enough product in here to last forever it seems. 5

I had an older (budget) audio mixer that randomly dropped channels. After checking my cables with a cable tester, I found that removing and reinserting plugs and playing with the dials and switches would remedy the situation. Temporarily. A helpful audio gear salesman at the store suggested this product, and it was remarkable how well it worked. No more dropouts. Even the switches and potmeters on the mixer worked better after treatment. Read the instructions on the can. Remove the knobs of the mixer (if possible) carefully so that the spray more easily penetrates potmeters and switches. Depress the switches and turn the potmeters a few times. Let it dry for at least half an hour to be sure that there is no residue. And your mixer is as good as new. I have tried other products from electronics stores, but DeozIT definitely works. 5
