Expanding on their line of panels, the Plus Series LED500 Bi-Color LED Light Panel from Dracast adds a digital display for adjusting output as well as Cat 5 DMX input and output for linking and comes with both Gold mount and V-mount battery plates. The light features 512 LEDs with a high CRI of 95 for excellent color accuracy. Also, this model features a variable color temperature from 3200-5600K for quickly matching either daylight or tungsten sources without needing to mess around with gels.

The lights offer a spot beam angle of 45°, as well as dimming from 0-100%. Benefiting operation, it can run from either a DC source, such as a Gold mount or V-mount battery, or a universal 100-240 VAC adapter. The light is durable as well, with an aluminum chassis, frame, and mounting yoke, and it only consumes 30W of power. Additionally, it is lightweight at just 4 lb and measures 12 x 6 x 2" in size.

A: Good question, sorry I do not know that answer... For my commercial shoots I need all day power so I use the Paul C. Buff large batteries.... These are great lights, and as I plan to get more I will get more powerful ones. The bi-color feature is a must for interiors...

A: No , the stand is sold separately

A: Yes, the Dracast X Series LED500 Bi-Color LED Light Panel (Interview 3-Light Kit) requires two batteries in order to get a full 1:1 output ratio.

Q: 5. Hi, I would like to know if the free Dracast 90Wh 14.8V Lithium-Ion V-Mount Battery will b charged on the Dracast LED500 or need an extra battery charger not included?

A: You would need to purchase a battery charger for the Dracast battery included with this panel. A charger which can be used is the IndiPRO Tools D-Tap Pro Battery Charger B&H # INPD1013. Please see the image below for reference.

A: No softboxes have been designed and made for the following unit.

A: While this is a very bright LED panel, the brightness would depend on how far this panel is placed from the subject, how high or low the dimmer is set and which color temperature the panel is also set for.

Exceeds my expectations. Easy to set up and break down. Light to carry and terrific quality. The only downside...I wish UPS would have been allowed to leave them for me with my pre-signed note explaining I could not be home for the required signature. That was a logical challenge to have someone wait at the house for UPS. 5

Using this light as a portable key and also for backlight/fill. A 90 wH Lion battery runs the light for 2 hrs. The color quality is very good, and the bi-color allows fair adjustment of the color temp, if not smoothly. Should be noted that the tungsten LED's are brighter than the daylight, so you get more light intensity (and exposure) the warmer you set this fixture. Still plenty bright in daylight mode at around 7 feet from subject. The yoke (all metal) is very sturdy, and because of the detented washers, does not tilt unintentionally with a battery brick attached. 5

Well built and highly efficient LED light! We now have 12 of these lights and they have proven to be durable in the cold and rain of Seattle. We slip a zip lock bag over the light when it's raining, and with the low heat output there is never a problem. 5

I havent gotten the chance to really put this light to the test yet, but I really do appreciate the build quality and the strong output of light. The portability when used with a battery is a huge plus. 5

I'm an actor/screenwriter/director/producer/videographer working on smaller projects that nonetheless need to be of professional quality. I like to use available/natural light whenever possible and then fill in with a few instruments, and this light so far is ideal for that due to its adjustable color temperature and intensity. It seems very sturdily built but it still surprisingly lightweight. I paired it with the suggested light stand and I am completely satisfied with the purchase -- light enough to be easily mobile and low profile for a skeleton crew, but without having to skimp on quality. Of course I can't yet comment on long-term durability, but the build quality seems very high. I bought the barn doors to go with it but they don't control the light perfectly -- still, they are useful for protection and I use them to throw some homemade diffusion over. No complaints and glad I bought it! 5

Not only is the light well built but it puts out a great amount of light. The led is very color accurate and when looking at scopes is actually a little less green then some HMI Tungsten lights. This is a great light. I recently purchased a second one after using the first. 5

This is the simplest and most efficient light I own. I use a V lock battery and this lamp is ready to go, anywhere very quick and easy. Also its very versatile with bi-color and dimming down to 10%. The best lamp in my collection! 5

Great lights for small spaces. I have a few 1x1 Bi color Dracast lights for the past year and they have been great just to big for some applications. These will do nicely. 5
