Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Are there caps on this? I am concerned about dust. Without caps my concern is you have a little cup pointing up catching dust, you put the lens on and flip it, dust falls onto rear of lens, put lens back on camera, dust in camera.

A: there are no provided caps....you could use a camera body cap or use two lenses so that it's always covered ...just a note--the camera body caps don't fit very tight...at least mine don't...

Q: 2. is it safe to stack 2 smaller lenses for packing in a bag?

A: I havent tried that but imagine it would work well. Its a great little addition to the bag and for switching lenses in the field

Q: 3. When attaching a lens does it lock in place like it would on a camera?

A: Yes it does. It basically works the same as the camera. Both sides also have color markings for the EF or EF-S lenses. The only problem though is they are very small markings and sometimes hard to see. I used my wifes fingernail polish to make the marks bigger though and that solved the problem. All and all I really love this tool and am very happy with it.

Q: 4. Can I use the lens flipper from Gowing for my Fujifilm XT1 model

A: I know the flipper is available for Canon and lenses. If your camera uses a Canon or Nikon mount, the flipper will work. However, the flipper strap is quite flimsy. I attached mr flipper to a sturdy Black Dakota strap. I sue it regularly with heavy, professional lenses. It works quite well with this setup. W wouldn't trust the safety of any lens to the flipper strap. I hope this helps you.

Q: 5. Will this adapter allow a vintage Rexatar 135mm 2.8 lens ( M42 pin mount ) to affix to a blackmagic pocket cinema camera?

A: It works great I havent had any problems. A great choice for the price.

Q: 6. Will it work with 20, 24, 28, 35mm lenses with the aperture open? The Viltrox doen't.

A: It would have to be a G type lens. If the lens is E type the Vello Accelerator Lens Adapter cannot open the aperture.

Q: 7. If I order this for fuji x now, when can I get this product?

A: We are expecting availability for this product August 25th, 2016.

Q: 8. will this work for Nikon APS-C lenses?

A: Yes that should work.

Q: 9. Will this adapter allow a Krasnogorsk screw mount lens to be affixed to a Blackmagic pocket cinema camera?

A: As long as the Krasnogorsk lens you have has the M42 screw mount, and not the Russian Bayonet mount, you could use the Dot Line Micro Four Thirds Adapter for Pentax M42 Lenses to attach your lens to the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera

Q: 10. The threaded portion of the adapter will fit with TSN-PA7 thread?

A: The threaded portion of the Novoflex MFT/T2 Lens Adapter for T2 Lenses to Micro Four Thirds Cameras will fit the TSN-PA7 thread.
