Sleek and stylish with gray body and black accents, ZEISS's 10x25 Terra ED Compact Binoculars give you a competent and compact optic that fits easily in the palm of your hand and looks good while they are there. A combination of technologies works together to produce bright and clear images with increased contrast and true color rendition. They include Schmidt-Pechan roof prisms, SCHOTT extra-low dispersion (ED) glass, and anti-reflection fully multicoated optics. The Terra ED is offered here in a 10x power, which walks the delicate line between an increased viewing distance over lower magnification optics while maintaining a useful field of view.

The lightweight housing is nitrogen filled and O-ring sealed, enabling them to withstand use in wet and snowy weather, and the rubberized armor offers protection from impacts while providing a slip-resistant grip. The Terra's double-hinge closed-bridge design allows them to fold compactly for an easy fit in most pockets or packs, while the knurled center focus wheel enables fast focusing. Twist-up eyecups make them comfortable to use with or without eyewear.

I used these on a recent trip to Yellowstone in winter. They remained free of fog, as expected. I was very pleased with the clear views and ease of operation. They fit into one of the compartments in my camera sling bag with ease. Excellent value, as well.

I bought these to replace an inexpensive 8x25 binocular, and I was very impressed at the improvement in image quality.
The package included a clamshell case and strap.

These baby binos met my expectations. I also own 8x32 Zeiss Terras and 10x32 Zeiss Conquests. I bought the 8x25 Terras for travel, bike riding, canoeing and long walks due to their light weight and compactness. They shine with quality. Note that they are made in Japan, not China. Glass is sharp edge to edge. Field of view gives the big boys a run for the money - 357 ft. at 1000 yds. Obviously, they are not as bright as a larger objective lens bino, however, their compactness more than compensates for this weakness. These binos come with a fitted hard carry case that you can carry on your belt or hang around your neck. My wife prefers using these binos now over others that we own. They are perfect ultralights for an on-the-go lifestyle and are most comfortable to wear.

I've been a birdwatcher for 30 years. Upgrading to the Zeiss 10 x 25 Terra gives me great clarity and detail. I almost have to see every bird over again now that I can see them so beautifilly. Worth every penny I paid for them.

This is a much better binocular than I expected. Its small, lightweight, optic quality is excellent and the image is just slightly brighter than naked eyes. The magnification at 10x is also just enough to be hand holdable. Love it.
