At the other end is a standard 1" ball for connection to other mounts of the same type by way of a required clamp that joins the 2 ball components. This adapter would allow you to attach a ball arm to your grip and then put a strobe or video light at the end of the arm. Alternatively, you could attach a ball-equipped strobe or light to your flex arm or mount it onto your grip handle without an arm.
