It is a DuraTAC stainless steel armored cable which is up to ten times stronger than ordinary tactical cables, without any compromise in flexibility.

This is the brightest flashlight I have ever seen; 10 times brighter than the best tactical flashlights of just a few years ago. Last night during a heavy windstorm, I was able to examine the roof shingles on my two-story house as if it were daylight. The use of separate buttons for on/off control and for control of the brightness/mode options makes this multi-function flashlight extremely easy to use. The on/off button has both momentary and locking positions, which is important in tactical situations. The guard-wings around the tailcap on/off button allow the flashlight to stand upright on the tailcap, for use as an emergency candle indoors during a power outage. The build quality is excellent. I am very pleased with this light. 5

While the instructions you receive in the packaging are somewhat vague on how to mount this, it's rather intuitive if you use your brain, haha! Once attached, this makes the Komodo a rugged, portable, handheld beast. I love the build quality and how light weight it is! It's versatile and a must-have if you own a Red Komodo Camera. 5

I got this for the SureFire Fury intellibeam, it works for the U2 or double AA Maglite and similar size lights, like as well. The Mole compatible straps work horizontal and vertical, so it's very adaptable. The light can be carried fully wrapped or "open" for easy access. And it offers a pen sleeve if needed. 5
