IronAxe from XHUN Audio is a software model of a legendary electric guitar series that faithfully simulates all of the acoustic and electronic components found in the original instruments, and preserves the same nuances and multi-techniques playability that are otherwise difficult to perform on sampled instruments.

Build a custom Stratocaster or Telecaster guitar, choose pickup type, number and position, set the tone knobs to the desired sound, and select the plectrum hardness or pluck a string with fingers at any point along its length. All of this and more can be controlled in realtime using a MIDI keyboard or a supported MIDI guitar.

Q: 1. Will this work on an MPC One+ standalone unit?

A: Yes, the AIR Music Technology Jura Classic '80s Synthesizer Software will work standalone for Akai MPC hardware units.

Q: 2. I have two receivers/amplifiers, one to power speakers inside and the other to power speakers outside and they are connected so they can play the same music at the same time. I would like to play music on my laptop and/or my tablet and/or an Ipod through this system without having to connect to either amplifier. Also, I'd like to be able to use outside or inside amplifier independently too so someone can be watching TV inside while music plays outside. Question #1 Do my amplifiers need to have a USB connection? Photos show USB connection on back of powered speakers. Question #2 Can the Audioengine be powered by a wall outlet instead of USB and be connected via RCA cables? Question #3 Would I need to buy two Audioengines to be able to use my two amplifiers independently? Just not sure how this all hooks up to achieve what I want to achieve.

A: Answers in order :1. Your Amp does not need a USB connection. If it has an USB connection maybe you could use it to supply power for one Audioengine receiver. It depends of the type of USB connector on the Amp. Check with your Amp. manufacturer. I prefer the to buy another power supply, read answer two.2. Yes, if you use an Audioengine wall adaptor, similar at the one that came with your kit. Audioengine sells that type of adapter as an accesory. You could buy it with this Code B&H # AUUSBPA.3. Yes you need to buy another unit, but only the receiver Code B&H # AUW3R. The reason is because I do not know your audio connection diagram. Maybe with the kit you have and if you operate your audio device in a master/slave situation and all your audio sources are connected to the master and if you select from that to activate the only slave or only the master or both, then you need only the kit you have. You have to connect the Audioengine receiver as a CD player or iPod connected direct by cable. Otherwise you need the last accesory I mentioned lines above and pair both Audioengine receivers to your Audioengine transmitter.NOTE 1 : The Audioengine transmitter should be connected to the source you want to play, like your iPod, notebook, tablet, celullar phone, etc NOTE 2 : English is not my maternal language, I tried my best to make this message to be understandable.

Used these for the first time this weekend... worked flawlessly... but to be fair it was a small stage :) -- but I really appreciated not tripping over a cable any more.

Learned that once the xmtr/rcvr have been sync'd for about 30 seconds they lock so that an inadvertent bump of the xmtr channel-select button does NOT cause it to change channels. Very pleased with that!
