Control the spread and output of your light with the Photoflex Nylon Fabric Grid for the Large Softbox (36 x 48"). This grid limits the light spread from your softbox to 40°. It fastens to the recessed front of the softbox via touch fasteners.

Grids are essential accessories for any lighting system. A grid alters the shape and intensity of the light output from your softbox when it is mounted on a light head. Consider a grid as a painter would a brush, or a sculptor would a knife, or chisel.

A: The velcro attaches the grid on the inside portion of the box.

A: Unfortunately, this grid is not compatible with the Broncolor 150 cm softbox.

A: The Photoflex Grid has velcro all around the outer edge, so if your brand soft-box can accept velcro all around its outer edge the Photoflex Grid may be a bit large but usable..

A: Unfortunately not. The item is packaged in standard see-through plastic packaging.

Q: 9. I have a softbox from Speedotron that is this size, will this grid fit that version of softbox?

A: This particular Photoflex grid has not been tested to our knowledge with the softboxes manufactured by Speedotron, so the results may vary.

Q: 10. Will this fit the DOP Choice 5 ft Octa?

A: This Photoflex grid only fits Photoflex 5' Octa.

Purchased this for a specific job. I really needed to have soft, focused light. It did the trick for sure. It's easy to put on and remove from the OctoDome. It's a little tricky to get a handle on packing it back, but you get the hang of it after awhile. 5

I've owned my Photoflex Medium Multi-dome for years, and have had the circular mask, but not the grid. Just purchased the grid and love the control it provides. The product is well made, better than I expected, and comes with its own small storage bag. Another great product from Photoflex. 5

I used this on a chimera softbox and it worked perfectly! Construction is a bit lower that the actual chimera brand but for the price you can't beat it! 5
